The total is around 12 to 15 months from the day CIC recieved your application.
For routine applications CIC provides total process time estimate of 12 to 15 months:
Initial review of application: 5 months
Processing application: 1 month
Transfer of application to local CIC office and administration of test: 3-5 months
Approval of application and ceremony: 2 to 4 months Source(s): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information…
If you are lucky, there is somebody on Yahoo answers who freshly got their citizenship in Saskatoon, however, I wouldn't bet on it. A better way for you to find out is be in motion to the CIC office in Saskatoon and ask them. If they can't tell you, ask them when and where on earth is the next citizenship ceremony and go to it. As they are checking everybody's ID, walk the stripe and ask everybody when they applied.
Even if you do this, there is a possibility that your application is outside the norm. I applied from Edmonton and got my citizenship in August ending year, about 2 and a half years after I had applied. I asked a few those at my citizenship ceremony when they had applied and they all said a year. CIC never told me there be anything wrong with my application, they never requested extra information. According to the CIC website, my file was "In Process" the unharmed time and not transferred to Edmonton until the day I got my letter to appear for the question paper so if that is correct, it was not the Edmonton office that be holding it up.
