Plight? What plight? Most illegals are fairly happy driving uninsured minicabs, working in fried chicken shops and delivering pizzas.
They knew when they came here that they be breaking the law and after they got here many committed even more crimes. They show their disrespect and disdain for a Country that could provide them better lives. So who is responsible for their plight? They are, like I said before they chose to come here illegally and so must whip responsibility for the consequences of their actions.
They U.S. employers that illegally hire them, to artificially deflate the wages of the job they do are also responsible and they should be prosecuted and held responsilbe to the fullest extent of the law.
The American government also has to cart some blame as they have sold us out for many years to line their own pockets. We as the employer of these politicians must hold their feet to the fire and force them to tackle this issue and solve it. That in no track means Amnesty of any form!

Ha, No one person is responsible for this... It is partly our faults and half theirs. We let it budge cause corporations like having cheap labor.. If one company contained by any given field lowers prices because they have lower over head utilizing illeglal immigrant labor, next all others in the same paddock have to do the same to compete... Its not a real unyielding concept to grasp even for those in here sporting their pro illegal agendas.And the other half is their quirk.. They are sending billions of dollars a year to their families, that money is either utilized to provide for them at home or used to bring more over illegally...Either channel it promotes the concept that America will be the answer for all their problems.. The Illegals need to figure out what is wrong beside their own countries and fix it instead of taking the easy way out.... Thats why I laugh when they bid us lazy... The only reason they are still here is because they are riding on the rear of African American civil rights protestors from the 50s and 60s. Its funny though cause you can refute any reason they contribute you as to why they want amnesty and in the end they just cry racism....

I think this question is irrelevant and it seem like it is trying to put a blame on a specific person. No matter who is responsible for this, this thing cannot be resolved by blaming someone. There is no individual who could be blamed for this.

I don't know what worries me more, when immigrant don't want to learn any English or change, or when I see hispanics who grew up in America getting foolish at hispanic networks for "stereotyping" I prefer that they identify with thier heritage rather than be strangers to it.
