Do you reflect immigrant are more chauvinistic than those born here?
I was born in Japan and naturalized wager on in the mid 70's.
I immigrated here in 1969 with my mom and my American serviceman dad.
I worked tricky and became a successful medical professional.
My question is this. Do you think immigrant as a whole are more patriotic and love America and what it stands for?
I know I am.

You're unfortunately going to find a lot of "immigrants" today are only here for what they can get and have no intention of becoming "Americans" no event how long they stay here. I've had Indian friends, for example, whose main interest in becoming U.S. citizens be to get a passport that would let them travel more easily than they can on their Indian one. And a colossal number of Mexican green holders never bothered to naturalize UNTIL they realized recently that they might lose their benefits. (Mexican rates of naturalization have historically be low.) So, no, I don't think immigrants as a whole are more jingoistic, especially recent immigrants and especially those who originally came illegally and be amnestied.
Some can be.
There are various immigrants that come here,appreciate and respect everything this country has to offer and would contribute their life for her if needed.
There are others that sneak in here in the departed of night,have no respect for our country or our laws and truly antipathy us and everything we stand for.
Those that had to work and pay their dues to get here are those who are more jingoistic than those who don't bother following the rules and expect us to hand them everything.
No not necessarily, however there may be "some" who truly do not take to mean what our Country means to those who do not have our freedoms.
it really depends because half of the immigrants are patriotic and they come here and get hold of a profession and work hard and prove to the peaple that there americans like the peaple that werent born here and deside to bind the us armed forces therey patriotic they go and fight and die for they re country at hand patriots. thats one half the other half are the immigrant that say oh we hate america and mexico is better than here and talk rubbish about this country theyre not patriotics ! and almost all americans are patriots. i wasnt born here but i show xenophobia at school at my house and i have an american flag i displayed it from sunrise to sunset i'm in jrotc and i love this country Source(s): university with the immigrants and americans

I think those of us who are over 30 realize how great America is and love this country. I've given 23 years of my time to my country in uniform so far and am disgusted by both immigrants who come only for the benefits and the younger contemporaries who complain so much about what the government and think we "owe" them something. It's ridiculous!!
