I'm an American female married to my English wife.What type visa should she apply for to live with me in the usa? my wife have recently visted me under the esta program however unfortunatley has to return to her profession in uk. what type of visa should she apply for to live with me permantly in the fused states?

At the moment near isn't really anything you can do. US Immigration does not recognize same sex couples as having any immigration rights. She could come here on a tourist visa, but she would only be capable of stay for a MAX of 1 year (If she applied for an extension after the first 6 months) But that is about it. As she is British, she could come without a visa for 90 days at a time on the Visa Waiver Program.
There are bills currently back by about 100 lawmakers in the house and 20 surrounded by the senate to recognize same sex couples for immigration purposes. About 20 countries already do this.
