If Someone Enters The USA Legally, But Overstays Does That Make them An Illegal Immigrant Anyways?

Just wondering.
Answers:
Yeah it does. If they bring caught the are deported. If they end up leaving and this Immigration authorities notice that they overstayed, next they are not allowed back in the country, evn if on a three month waiver pgm (like for usual holidays) for a period of a specific number of years I do no remember but I think is 2 or 5.
Hehe I did my research :P
Pretty much. Once they lose legal status (ie, their visa expires) they become 'illegal'.

Even if they own a SS#, they are still illegal. If they get found out (which doesn't usually happen until you do something first, approaching try to apply for adjustment of status or another visa) then they will deported and have a ban on reentry imposed on them. Source(s): www.uscis.gov

Absolutely!
Yes, it does make them unendorsed. They need to leave when they are supposed to leave, otherwise they are no better than any other criminal improper alien invader.
Yup BUT they have a better chance of adjusting their status if they own the inclination.

NOTE: There's a period they can adjust status in, if they overstay past that time they get treated as any other illegal.
YES! You are then immediately an Illegal Immigrant! Source(s): Common Sense! You can't bend the laws!
Yes, either enter illegally or enter legally but out of status, both are not permitted aliens.
Yes,they are still private.
Yes, don't overstay.
