Should alien immigrant be required to speak one of the representative language?
There are all these chinese people who don't speak english or spanish and it's very annoying.

We don't have an official language, but I believe we should. It should be english, and yes every immigrant should be required to speak it. You are right it is unbelievably annoying.

Nope. Americans wishes to learn other people's languages and cultures and except them. I'm 100% African (Senegal, West Africa) and I speak 5 languages already @ 15 years hoary. I moved to the U.S. at 9 years old. I'm open to learning more language. I learned to speak English in 3 months (very fluently). It may be very annoying when others don't speak English but be tolerant and help those people.

everyone needs to be able to speak english. approaching it's fine if they want to speak their native language at home and teach it to their kids and adjectives, but seriously...our constitution is written in english, we all need to speak english. newly my opinion. love it or hate it, i don't care.
I think anyone looking to live in the U.S. permanently should be at lowest learning to speak English.

Maybe they are just pretending not to speak one of your offical languages! Had a stucco crew try that on me ( Yo no hablo Inglés.). Once I shut past its sell-by date the water every single one of them spoke English!
