Why do general public come here dishonestly?
By the way, I do know that our country was made of immigrants, but my friends, this is not the inauguration of that millienium where there was plenty of landscape and housng for everyone. There is such thing as overpopulation, espeically with our helth today.
Answers:
The countries that they come from suck.
The bottom line is twofold.
1. Immigration both legal and illegal, answers to the monetary needs of the US market and fluctuates according to its' needs and demands.
2. Our current policy is one of widen borders, in order to fill the invalid in the absence of legal avenues to compress the need of business and industries .
What is needed is a two prong approach that entails real enforcement of Immigration and employment eligibility, that doesn't in recent times concentrate on deportation but also and punishing employer who act outside the law through need or greed.
This have to be coupled with a legal avenue that provides US industries, business, technology, agriculture and construction with a needed flow of stopgap workers that fluctuates to the demands of the market.
This would eliminate the open borders policy and prevent some of the criminal thing from sneaking through and allow the US to pick the best of the crop of applicants to come and fill a need in the marketplace.
I think it's time to formulate a comprehensive immigration reform that leaves politics and passions out of it and concentrates on the practical issues of our cutback and the laws of this country. Source(s): self
It's not easy to gain citizenship into the U.S you say your grandparent were wiling to do adjectives the work do you realized it's harder to gain citizenship today than back 40+ years? Even if you know the language and history it still pinch a long time. You citizen's are the one who are taking the rights for granted. It takes a lot and clearly you don't know.
Because getting here takes a long time. And its not alike it was a long time ago.In the 1920s and 30s it was much easier to come in the US and they standard if you were poor as long as you pay for your ticket to come here.
Now many Americans are proud of showing how poor family's come to their country to enjoy a better life.
But in reality the US won't agreed poor people. But educated and rich skilled workers.Which doesn't make scene since because if their rich and skill and hold a good job on their own country they wouldn't bother coming here. And the US only allows them to come surrounded by. But the thing is that the US doesn't allow poor people to come in.And most of them don't own money and can't get in so they come illegally
Coming within the US a long time ago was much much easier than its now.So I don't see why people aways point out their grandparents when its not impossible to tell apart anymore.
yes becoming a citizen is worth the keep on instead of having to look over your back because your scared to be deported. you wont hold to worry about anything after and you can make more money working. not sure why the family cant do the same.
It's because they want a better life I suppose, and getting citizenship is a long and expensive road. You roughly have to have sought after skills too, which a lot of illegals won't hold. Why do that when you can just jump over the border and work illegally for a bit, after later get citizenship in an amnesty!
because they don't have any respect for AMERICA or its law
They are just here to rape this country for what they can get and after they have made plenty money to buy a new home in their country and have 30-40 thousand American dollars rear in their bank accounts of their home country they will be gone and new illegals will crawl there space
the theory her is this
if they can't bring their country UP TO AMERICAS level
after they will try and bring AMERICA DOWN to their country's level
they do this by coming here illegally and not paying taxes, collecting government benefits while sending every dime they can to their home country and OUT OF AMERICAS reduction
NO AMNESTY--- NO WAY !!! Source(s): DEVIL WATCHER
The answer boils down to this, "Because they can". We allow things to continue the way they are. They own no severe consequences to worry about.
Native Americans and Mexicans, the land that "we call" America be theirs to begin with. It was until the European conquest and the so call beginning "Americanization" of North America that lead to "ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION of white people".
Even though there be no laws back then in relation to this matter, and even if it was a long time ago, Americans are still here illegally. Period.
A huge number of the immigrants that the US deal with today would prefer to be home, but can't afford to be. That is, they come here to generate money to send back home so the ancestral can survive.
Of course, those that come here and discover American plumbing and Britney Spears don't want to go home, and then try to convince their relatives to come to the better life.
Its really merely an issue of globalization and equalization. People in the US have a much higher standard of living than most of the rest of the world. People want to increase their standard of living, so they come here.
We homily about "The American Dream" as a rationale for the migration, but I think its far more simple: Someone in Mexico can act 14 hours of back breaking labor in Mexico and earn $10, or do it in the US for $84.
The network effect of the poor pouring into the US is that our economy suffers, people start getting less money, and things equalize. When the US is no longer such a huge monetary win, they'll stop coming.
It really isn't a thing of right or wrong, or even the rights and expectations of being an immigrant or a citizen. Its all about survival.
And it other has been.
Thank you for genuinely asking this question. I abhorrence it when people ask questions like these basically to bash on immigrants.
My husband has lived in the United States since he be 3 years old. He speaks English perfectly, was is national honor society surrounded by high school, and feels close to an American. He paid his taxes every year and worked only with authorization. He never received any type of aid from the rule. He would give ANYTHING to become an American citizen, and would have no trouble passing the citizenship tryout. Unfortunately he overstayed a visitor's visa as a three-year-old, and he had to leave the United States under voluntary departure. He very soon faces a possible 10-year bar from returning to the United States.
Getting one's citizenship if you are from another country without a relative who is also a citizen is subsequent to impossible. Even if you have a relative who is a citizen, it can take years to be allowed to even enter the United States. It's not a question of why immigrant do not want to become citizens, it's a question of our current immigration system not providing them with a reasonable method of becoming citizens.
This is contained by no way to excuse illegal immigration. It is wrong, and they committed crimes. But this should help you to become conscious a little bit of why they are here illegally.
citizens come to USA for the american dream and if u ever lived in any other countries that have no freedom or no human respect u will know why u they come her illegally USA is the lands of opportuinty
