Why do farmers grow crops that they cant pick lacking unofficial immigrant??

Why not grow a hardy plant for that cows can eat and then rent the land to cattlefarmers for grazing. It lowers beef and corn prices and lowers and private immigration at the same time. and the harvest is not only paid for but it is revenue

You know that third world countries enjoy relaxed standards when it comes to cattle production anyway and that they will slash and burn rain forests to make room. why not keep America as the best beef nation within the world and do it responsibly?

Americans can always by rice and cotton and whatever else from those third world nations and i'm sure they would love America adjectives the more for the trade.

Why is the government not insisting on more transparency from the farming community roughly their costs anyway?

Clearly farming has very tight margins for most operator to meet at the best of times. they should be scrutinized thoroughly by IRS & INS

The individual thing those greedy farmers can't do without illegals is get rich using cheap labor instead of paying a fully clad wage to a legal American.
But still, most of the crops picked in this nation are picked by Americans or legal citizens or residents so not adjectives farmers are like that. I don't think any of us would like it if adjectives our fruit and other produce had to be imported. Man can't live on beef alone. Was wondering, have you be to a feed lot where beef is raised.
They could harvest crops with American workers, but it would cost more because you have to discharge an American a high wage to get him to go out to where on earth these crops are and work in the hot sun and sleep on the ground at night. Those illegal migrant workers own gotten used to living this way, so they will do the work for less money.

If Lori K can afford to hire legal workers, she must be growing marijuana.
Why not let the people who collect welfare pick the crops instead of staying home making babies. According to John McCain, we "can't" do those job even at $50/hour.
Don't the farmers also be paid money on crop failure, is it farm subsidizing ? They don't. That's just an excuse for hiring dishonestly. (I know. I own a farm and do not hire illegals.)
Many plants, most actually, come to later life in a very short time frame in a given locality. That is the gather time and it is intense and of short duration. For that time you need a lot of help to bring in - but you don't need it that help before or after. If you are a cultivator with a whole lot of crops coming to maturity at staggered times this is not so much of a problem, but mono-culture is getting to be more the rule.

Migrant workers, mostly from Mexico, are nought new. I remember them from my childhood, 50 years ago working on pea and corn harvests. They were housed within appalling conditions and I doubt that they were paid a princely sum. Minimum wage at best.

Have you somehow missed reading about a world rice shortage and chat of a rice cartel? No, the third world is not going "love America more for the trade".
because many people like you and me do not want to work on the sheep farm. Who else can they hire? Because they have gotten into a bad habit--hiring illegals. I believe there are relatives (legal) who will do this work. I grew up pulling a cotton sack and picking the stuff by hand. Machines now do that work.

The farmers can hire others by paying more, which means we money more for our food--but not that much more. And there are food stamps which help people who can't afford it.

I'm sure the political affairs does insist on transparency from farmers. However, there can be dishonest farmers just like surrounded by other occupations.

By the way, an acre of soybeans and other produce can feed like mad more People than an acre used for running cattle.

I've already missed once, and will have to miss again. How many times am i allowed? I don't give attention to that there is a limit but why would you. I think that that would be your number one priority. I would lately attend and get it over with instead of postponing it. Citizenship must not...
