Labour to put Britons at front of housing queue?
Labour has announced that it is now going to put Britons at the front of the housing lists due to their loss of support to the BNP.
Is this all the same another cynical ploy now that they are facing oblivion or an admission that they are guilty of racism and nouns against the British?

It's unworkable because of Political Correctness & the Race Relations Industry, just resembling it has been for Brit jobs !
It is certainly a cynical ploy designed to take the heat stale Labour but don't you believe the Government has at long last started to put the British people first - I don't dream up that's what it has said at all. What the Government has done is simply wash it's hands of the matter by devolving responsibility for housing down to a local level. But the Government will still tolerate the immigrants in and still expect them to be housed, it's just that the local authorities (which since the ending round of local elections have largely ceased to be Labour controlled) will now lug the flak for housing the immigrants instead of the Government.
Now when have they ever done that?
The individual reason they are thinking abouth the ethnic working population of the Uk is because they have had a see in the *** by the BNP
When my children are in a position to be able to capture a job that will pay a mortgage and give them a moment or two left over for themselves, and when i can get dental treatment on the nhs to which i have rewarded into all my life.
me and labour might be friends again.

All this 'Put Briton's in front of the housing queue' is a last ditched attempt to redress a situation that has needed solutions for a enormously long time and Labour have sat back and done nought.
All this belated action now is a vain attempt to claw back the voters who hold left them in droves just until that time a General Election.
But this is typical of Labour,Always shutting the stable door just after the horse has bolted.
38 years ago, living with husband and 2 kids in a large double room i be told that despite there being empty council property within the borough we were not eligible for a house. The council however was willing to house Ugandan Asians as it have an obligation to the government to do so! After a big kick rotten in the council offices (born in this country, parents combat for it in the war etc) we were given a place. I consistency truly sorry for the people black and white born here that have no chance because places are given to anyone who merely turns up on our shores. Remember the family living in the huge house in Acton? It have always been the same and very soon the government is beginning to realise that soon there will be riots on a mount that this country has never seen. They should listen to the people within bus and shop queques. Blacks and Asians that came over here and WORKED now see their kids sidelined for a place and whites that can trace their roots back generation are in the same boat. Most of these refugees or doesn`t matter what you want to call them must think they are in bliss when they get a council place. Give them some corragated iron and some cardboard and let them build what the majority had posterior in their homeland. (may have to open up a few sewers as that seem a popular place to live)

My husband used to work for the council, and he said that he would watch immigrant taken to their new, free, house, and they would refuse to go surrounded by, and the councill would have to find them a better one untill they agreed to take it!!
I have inherited who have to live in their parents attic because they cant afford to rent, and they are considered 'low' priority!!

Where I live in South East London, the official information at the last election was 37% empire from an African country, ie Nigeria.
Only two kinds of people carry housing benefits or housing- British citizen (not only whites but all races as long as they British citizens) and asylum seekers. All other lawful and illegal immigrants r not entitled to any benefits. Among non-citizen and non-asylum seekers Free NHS is with the sole purpose for those who r working here legally and paying taxes and NI.
So what is this about putting brits first? There r 98% brits compared to 2% successful asylum seekers. So how come Brits do not get the benefit of housing? Either the govt is also giving benefits to unseccessful asylum seekers or pushing adjectives succesful asylum seekers ot the font of the queue.

Anyway, we have ask why pocket this action now. Why not as soon as they gained organization? Is there an election due in the subsequent ten months or so? Is there something amiss with the party's public ratings? Are there so abundant bent Labour MPs shown up on the expenses fiddle investigation that attention needs diverting somewhere else? As far as I know, the up to date housing policy will
- give local authorities the right to set their own council housing priorities
- giving greater attention than they have done to local links, family ties and job
- give greater prioroty to those who have been on the waiting detail for longest
This doesn't necessarily mean they will be giving council houses away to British Born people, but people who enjoy been in the area for a while, hold been on the council housing list for a while and have ties to the nouns. You dont have to be British to meet these requirements.
In any case, the view that councils or the governments has been giving prioroty housing to Immigrants is complete hooey, and I'd like to know where people receive their facts from to suggest that is the case.
Secondly, most councils, in London especially own sold off a lot of the council houses to generate money. They were given the authority to do this when? Yes, underneath a Tory government. Now it's Labour building new social housing.
