Who are the existing XENOPHOBES ? U.S. citizens, or prohibited immigrant ?
It seems to me, that the real xenophobes are the illegal immigrant. They enter our country illegally, refuse to adapt , proscribe to learn English and, keep them selves seperated from the rest the community .

I work and have worked with illegals who own been here for more than a decade and they still DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH! its pure laziness. they hang around beside other spanish speaking people, the stores in their neighborhood employ bilingual populace so they feel they don't have to learn english. They do not immigrate. They flee an oppressive government and a starving cutback. They have done so for many decades.
They will learn English if they involve to, but many are too busy avoiding deportation and eviction by working two jobs that they have little opportunity or time.
True Xenophobes are afraid not of others, but of what others represent. Others represent the xenophobe contained by another land, driven there by economics and government. They are afraid of their own potential doom.

Good point, and yes, many illegals refuse to learn English and various will never learn a lick of it. They whine that "its too hard" just like immigrating lawfully is "too hard", apparently they don't like things that are a challenge like allowed immigration and assimilating. I was born and raised in the u.s but both my parents be ilegals at first, they are very hard workers and so is every other immigrant i know, im not saying they are adjectives like that but the majority come to work and to love america and all americans do is discriminize.Why are you filled next to so much hate and anger?

I have yet to meet an immigrant, legitimate or otherwise, who refuse to learn english. I am curious have you ever in reality met one? They do not "refuse" to adapt or speak English. Learning a foreign language when you are an adult is difficult. Most eventually cram.
How in the world are they supposed to adapt and revise English if we don't give them the opportunity to do so? I think most of them would gladly adjust to America, after all, they chose to come here. But when there are ICE agents out looking for them and they can't meet their neighbors or engineer friends for fear of being turned in, it isn't surprising that they don't convert. MLK?...
