The BEST way to "tackle" the dishonest immigration problem, in my view would be to implament ALL of the following:
1. Change the US Constitution so that mere birth here is not sufficient reason for citizenship. The child should hold the same status os his parents. in the event of differing statuses for respectively parent the child would receive the most advantageous status
2. make sending money via western union, bank chain transfers etc... back home illegal
Make a proof of legal status a requirement for any and adjectives housing and vehicle purchases/leases/rent/licensing
3. Make it illegal for anyone who is not currently legally in the USA to receive ANY type of rearing, from free community-based classes to university
4. same as #2 except for any type of bnking/credit/insurance
5. creat MUCH harsher punishments for illegals (hard labor prisons, for example, heck there are a LOT of roads that need attention tha tthe budgets can't repair)
6. offer a bounty for respectively illegal bought in and this would be available to anyone, even law enforcement personel
7. POST IMMIGRATION IN ALL FOREIGN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS! If they are rejected they are still within their own country
8. post armed forces at our sourthern borders. we pay the soldiers anyway, they might as well protect our border full time
9. Enforce the US Constitution' prohibition of gain from illegal hustle and bustle. NO illegal should be able to sue anyone for anything, because their (supposed) damage COULD not begin if they were not here illegally!
I believe that we need to find a way to construct legal immigration much more efficient so far fewer race find a need to immigrate illegally.
Step One: Prevention:

Institute requirements for employers to conscript American employees first at wages standard to the area. Penalties for those who fail to comply. Harsh penalities for those who verbs to hire any illegal alien.Require all employers to PROVE inevitability for immigrant workers, whether permanent or temporary. An independent study should be done to determine need and immigration quotas arranged upon completion. When temporary worker permits are granted, the employer must assure the worker leaves the US when the permit lapse or face severe penalties.
Step 4: Limited amnesty for illegal aliens currently here.
Set firm STANDARDS to admit status to illegals already here with a declaration that this will be the final time the US grants any form of forgiveness to wrong aliens. All penalties for harboring and aiding illegal aliens be increased and enforced and that the US will expect cooperation from other nations, not protests and demands for slackness. Failure to cooperate will result in economic sanctions or reduction in foreign aid.
Standards:
a)A six months time limit for to report and apply for legal status. This is to prevent more from entering and applying. Failure to report and apply beside the time limit to result in automatic disqualification and deportation.
b) A very thorough conditions check, and disqualification of criminal illegal aliens including criminal activity here or in home nation. That would include repeat offenders who returned after deportation as well as those convicted of violent crime, identity robbery, drug-trafficking, gang-related activities and property crimes. c) None granted status will be capable of draw Social Security retirement unless they have paid in for a minimum of 25 years back reaching retirement age

In the past, Mexico had fingerprints of family, and refused to supply full information on them. They have done that a dozen, dozen times in the end 100 years.

Today, the Mexican Nationals probably have more fake I.D.s than any other group in the world ever......... ever....... have. We have NO idea who is what, and because that is the casing, we need to deport all those who came minus the proper documents. Punish employers with multiple limitation letters sent to them. They can use the device that checks the people, or they can go to lock up... I don't care which, but I want the Congress to set up a working farm sos the executives can earn their cot and three hots.
1. Fine companies hiring them enough that they would be forced out of business.
2. Jail the people who hire them.
3. Jail the people helping and hiding them.
4. Catch the illegals force them to verbs up our cities and roads for 5 years then deport them. They get no pay, no background, basic cold meals (sandwiches and milk or juice), live in a tent surrounded by a paling, only enough medical care to hold them alive and somewhat healthy. I think that sheriff in AZ have the right idea.
I don't know if my ancestors came here illegally or legally but I interpret that most of my ancestors were immigrants... Ialways wondered what would happen if the Native Americans get together and deported the rest of us... (I've read about how cruel some of the settlers were to the Indians and it shocked me. They WERE here first, after all).
I have some Spanish ancestors... I hope that the Indians would dispatch me over there!!



Illegal immigration, though, is a complicated problem. I lived in Latin America, so I see the problem in a different night light. There's a lot of stuff I noticed down there, and it would enjoy been unwise to SAY anything... but I observed it. The "best" country to live in is really subjective. I go to university in Mexico, and for me life was better near... but every person's situation is different. I had a scholarship, graduated from college, and other advantages. For example, I prefer their university system to ours, ok, here come the thumbs down but it's my inference. But there is a huge disparity of wealth. We have this notion that EVERYBODY within Mexico wants to come here... but there is a class difference (meaning no offense to anybody). The poorest people come here, work and distribute money to their families there.
Not all Mexicans want to come here... I fell contained by love with a guy there (a long story which I'll save for the soaps) and I didn't ask him to come beside me to the USA because I knew he'd be so miserable here. There is an emerging middle class, and they tend to stay.
People have this stereotype of Mexico as dirty, violent and corrupt, but approaching I said... it is true that there are some crummy areas of Mexico, just like every country have crummy regions... but there are beautiful things to look at, state of the art colleges, and most people would prefer to stay contained by their culture with the life the know, and love... they come here to escape poverty. Some people come here and commit crimes, and swearing the system and that should just not be tolerated. People who come here, work, and send money back to their family... that is very admirable. What worries me, though, is that we don't know anything ABOUT them... they are probably safe... but, we don't know for sure, because they're not documented.
This is why I think that we should work with Mexico's government, to receive conditions better for the poor people there. I realize that change doesn't come overnight, but if they didn't HAVE to set out their country, they would stay.
Another thing is that we should make it easier to legally move here. I know population who don't even want to immigrate here. They just want to come here to visit the USA, see a broadway play, or go to Disneyworld. They practically enjoy to beg for permission... the people who act in accordance with the laws and stand in line for visas carry screwed over by the system. It's completely unfair to punish people for doing things like they're supposed to. It seem nearly impossible (notice I said nearly) to come here legally. I'm not saying we should reward people for breaking the regulation, but if it were easier to get permission to come, later we would have an opportunity to look into the backgrounds of these people, and bring in sure of who they are. We would still have immigrants, but we would know who is coming and going, and we would know something about them.

In my assessment this would be in everyone's best interests.

The lone practical way that it will EVER be tackled and that is the Bush - McCain - Kennedy plan that be DOA in Congress. Made too much sense.
For starters, ENFORCE the borders whether that means shoot to kill or electric fence or doesn`t matter what. Severely punish people who hire under the table and I mean SEVERELY as surrounded by such heavy fines and jail time, they will never do it again. Change the anchor baby regulation so that just because a baby is born here does not make it a US citizen. Stop the welfare and adjectives free handouts.. no free medical treatment at clinics, no treatment at ER's unless they are bleeding to death. refuse their kids access to public schools, do not agree to them go to universities and get financial aid when 50% of the US due paying citizens who need it can't get it. Enforce the e-verify in EVERY state.. I catch low income housing and food stamps and they verify everything. My ss# MUST match my birth certificate. I have to own a copy from my landlord of my lease, etc for food stamps. Illegals don't have to PROVE anything..that's wrong.

But most of the problems would be stopped if you do something about the employer and stop the welfare. they don't want a better life..they want the welfare and now they are getting social sec. which they haven't paid into.
Retake our borders, as fast as or faster than we took Bagdad, afterwards fan out and start sweeping. Deport them!

We cannot deport all the illegals in the US, never going to happen, but we can gross their lives here so miserable by taking away the reason they come here, work, that many will self deport.

1) Sorry we can't deport 12 million people as much as we may want too, but we can require them to "register" or be felon. It is that simple; register, pay a required fee, and then allow them to work as registered aliens.

2) Set up a simple database (hey this is the modern computer world) and employer with Tax ID's can post how many openenings they have; if in that are openings then let nation cross the border at checkpoints after registering.

3) Not registered = felony with 2 year minimum prison sentence. Hire an unregistered alien = felony and you lose your Tax ID (business) and go to prison minimum of 2 years.
