it doesn't issue if americans were moving into canada; mexicans into america; south americans into mexico.
every just and merciful government (which consists of the family which make it up) will be lenient to those wishing to move into such a democratic and basically environment. for crossing the border only does not constitute a person's willingness to break the law, but fairly, their intense desire to live.
I think that if you are trying to convince us that we need to pummel illegal immigrants in this country because Mexican authorities do within Mexico....... perhaps you need to read or re-read the US Constitution, the bible, and the words on the Statue of Liberty!!
And La Raza is here advocating against the bigots of this country. Chicanos are American Citizens whose ancestors are home-grown to the land we now call the US Southwest!!!
In Mexico they have stringent rules about immigration to their country.
1. You hold to speak the native langauge. (not a problem for most Central Americans)
2. You have to be a professional or investor ( I believe you have to bring contained by 4000 times the daily minimum wage to invest) That means NO UNSKILLED WORKERS ALLOWED!
3. If you go here illegally, you are going to jail.
4. You do not have the right to protest, own property short restrictions, or vote (ever)
Since Mexico's economy is only about 10% of ours, it is glib to see why they do not want more poverty stricken people to bring them down.
It is a travesty. The human rights violations that continue un-abated is definitely the worst on the continent. We should be doing that to illegals here. I hold my old baton. But hey, along their southern border they rape the illegal women also, hmmmmmm.
