Immigrating to America?
It is hard to tell from my perspective.
I have a friend who is considering relocating from Trinidad & Tobago to America in the next couple years. As much as I would love for her to be with me in America, I do not want that at the sacrifice of her comfort. I want to know that it will be a conceivably easy adjustment into our fast paced society. If not, as much as it would overwhelmingly hurt, I would prefer she stay where she is.
If a current or former immigrant to the states could provide me with a little feedback on adjust to an American lifestyle, it would be most appreciated. I am looking for any sort of feedback. Whether you've been here a week or a decade. All feedback, both positive and negative is welcomed. Thank you.

Thousands of immigrant relocate to the US each year. I know several. While many of them miss their old countries, I enjoy yet to hear a single person say that they decision they hadn't come here and want to go back. If she wants to come, I would stir up her. She can always go back and stop by.

Do the oral exam you for drugs when you purloin your australian visa medical?
I don't know, but if they do, I think I will move there on a rocket plane!! Not that I'm aware of, but there are moderately a few blood tests done for HIV. They give you the layout of all the test when you book your medical online...
