How can I oblige my boyfriend to be a ligal immigrant?
I have a boyfriend who is a illigal in US, we've been together for two years immediately and I really want him to be a legal person.
However, I am currently here with F-1(student)visa and soon I will return with H-1B visa which allow me to work in this country.
If my company is helpful to get me a green card, I will know how to stay in US forever. I also can apply for US citizenship later, but it will be 5 years later I guess. Then I have need of to wait long time to help him to be a legal.... Does anyone know if he can apply for at lowest possible working permittion? or anything else.
I tried to lottery for greencard...but it is so difficult too.
Is anyone have simmilar problem?

I don't understand why you ask this people serious questions just about immigration, they don't even take it seriously they are just a bunch of racist people.(most anyways). The worse module is that they don't know any facts before they open their big mouth. FOR everyone's information the illegals yes, pay taxes contained by everything they buy as everybody else, plus their Illegal employers deduct taxes from their salaries, the singular difference is that they cannot file income tax forms to get anything vertebrae and many times the employers pocket their tax deduction. We have so many stupid people contained by this world.

There's nothing you can do. You're not a US citizen and you're not even a permanent resident. If you are competent to get an H1B visa you could marry him and try to get him an H4 as your spouse. However the rules for an H4 are very strict. He would NOT be allowed to work. If he worked immorally it would jeopardize your H1B and most likely cost you any chance of getting a green card.

Even if you marry, if he came here criminally, he won't be able to take advantage of your amendment of status to H1b or to green card status in the US, assuming all that goes according to your plans. He can't apply for a work card, minus some basis for eligibility for something else, and he isn't eligible for anything at this time. People can't simply apply for a work card. It will take a very long time to work this out, at best. If the two of you enjoy that sort of patience and he isn't picked up and deported between now and then, it could work out, some afternoon. Just not any time soon. Dear the best thing you can do is stay out of this from a legal and process perspective. You are contained by no position to help, and many things you try can actually wreck you in the long run.
