Since every nation could be call a nation of immigrant (or a nation of invaders) if you shift backbone far ample?
Consistent application of the principle that a nation of immigrants must be open to all adjectives immigrants would require every country on earth to open its borders to whoever considered necessary to come.
1: No borders anywhere
OR
2: only the United States and, to a lesser extent, a handful of other Western nations, are said to enjoy this obligation. The rule of openness to immigrants turns out to be a double standard, aimed solely at America and the West.
What do you have an idea that?

There is a mid point that you are refusing to acknowledge which is how much you control access from immigrant. Your bias also causes you to call immigrants "invaders" and neglect the openness of countries that are NOT western.
In mankind's family there is still a immensely primitive natural order that makes humans gravitate to where on earth the most resources are located as a means of survival. The only reason immigration is an issue of adjectives importance between countries is because some countries are richer than others, therefore attracting more immigrants. If a country have been built on openness and by immigrants, after adopting more closed-border policies after reaching prosperity is a double standard with immigrants that come from one country versus the other or an previously point in history versus present day. Why make Ellis Island the route towards freedom and prosperity surrounded by the 1920's and now deny that opportunity for people throughout the Río Grande? That, my friend, is a double standard.
You do what you can.
Since whites have failed at producing spawn, they need foreigners to keep their economy moving.
That simple. You enjoy to take in immigrants because you cannot waste. You lack real power, even your armies are composed mostly of "immigrants" these days.
Those who drought power can only endure, whine and hate contained by silence.
Well if I would choose among the two options, I would rather choose #2 because every strong nation who guard its own population and resources must have certain standards before they allow people from other countries into their own grounds. Health and security checks, cultural and economic usefulness must be at least in a way verified contained by each person who wishes to enter. If at all angles near those applicants, with considerations, deemed qualified, then consent to them in.
It's simply countries with a large white population that are expected to allow an unlimited number of immigrants. What lunacy! Having huge numbers of immigrants was find in the rash history of the USA, but with a population over 300 million and unemployment at 6% and rising, couldn't we just cut spinal column on immigration until the economy recovers?
I think it's a crock of a steaming none sense agenda to raise the standards of third world countries by comparrison only and solely at the expense of lowering ours. With the billions we enjoy given most of these countries they could have the same standards as we do, but they while away their time cowering before some Obama approaching figure who can't think past socialism.
We are open to immigrants of other nations - IF THEY FOLLOW THE RULES! It is not appropriate to voice that we have to let everyone into the country just because they get the impression like coming here.
Taxpayers should take care of citizens up to that time the illegal aliens that are breaking our laws! Source(s): amnesty is wrong!
You should ***, that most of the hand full of Western nation who are generous in allowing immigration does so because of past guilt. They tend to allow immigrant as compensation for the colonial past.
As usual with a ask as complex as immigration, it's fairly close to impossible to apply such a broad standard to the entire scope. I agree with the concept that a nation and national culture fundamentally created by immigrant should remain open to further immigration, but at the same time I can see where your comment of a double standard comes from.
I will right to be heard that North America has some unique aspects to it in language of history. Immigration to this part of the world is extremely high and very recent on a historical ascend. There is also the fact that the omnipresence of US culture in particular make it desirable to immigrate there, as a favorable impression of US culture is generally transmitted worldwide. Obviously, not everyone finds US culture appealing, but it is something to consider nonetheless.
I essentially can't answer your question; immigration has proven to be a very difficult subject to meet head-on, though I tend to ascribe to the simple and idealistic notion that if a person can contribute to the society they wish to live contained by, they should be allowed to live there.
