What is the best state to live contained by if you are an immigrant?

It depends on what you are looking for, and what you are comfortable with. Each state has its own things to offer, as far as geography, climate, and camouflage. All of the states are hospitable to legal immigrants, and most areas are fine to settle in. There is everything from mounatins to plains to coastal areas. You also own your choice of rural or urban settings.
Your best bet would be to look at these factors, and also what industry/career/interests you have. Those also can point to certain areas over others.
Well,most immigrant I know came to my state from california,so apparently that is not the best state to live in . Texas is a honourable state though ,plenty of work as long as you are a legal green card carrying immigrant , otherwise your out of luck getting a job that pays you more then $5.00 a hour. Come to Las Vegas, Nevada ,you can find plenty of work contained by a casino where even the dishwashers make over $9.00 an hour to start. Oregon is a good state to plenty of work , no sale tax and fresh air , you decide. I'm a US citizen, but I lived most of my life span in Mexico, so I feel somewhat an immigrant. I lived in California, and everything be fine, that is, if you have a green card. If not, you won't be able to bring a driver license and that means you cannot drive anywhere without the risk of getting a ticket. In California, it is almost impossible to live without a coup¨¦.
Now I live in North Carolina and I love it. Lots of work opportunities and the cost of living is really cheap. However, I've noticed that evil look (especially surrounded by older people) more here in NC than in CA. Once I be insulted by a guy because I had a funny accent, and he told me that if I didn't know how to speak English, then I should progress back to Mexico. I got so mad.
But, for the most cut, North Carolina is a nice place to live at. The vast majority of people I know are really nice. Sometimes I have notice things that people say that might be considered racist, but for the most part this is due to ignorance of other cultures, or they purely want to mess with you. I have learned that I can reorganize this by educating people and by not taking jokes seriously. If someone tells me some cultural jokes, well I come back next to other jokes and at the end we are all laughing.
