Is It Wrong to Be Agianst Illegal Immigration?

As a first generation American (Mother came from England in the 1960's, Father come from Germany in 1941) is it wrong for me to be for legal immigration, but against those who come into the U.S. illegally?
Answers:
No it's not wrong,it's your patriotic duty in fact to try to protect and stand up for this nation contained by any manner you can. Illegals are to blame, and the employers.

If I steal a car because the key were in it, that doesn't make it right.
No it is not
My parents were immigrant, but they came to this country legally.

Why should Americans permit illegals, who own no respect for the laws of the country, expect to be accepted with start on arms and demand rights that are being bestowed on legal American citizens who are paying for any adjectives the benefits that this country provides.

My parents were not born in the United States, but when they died, they were proud Americans who spent their subdivision of their lives here in America abiding by the laws of the land.
nope i dont see anything wrong with being against ILLEGAL immigrants. I HONESTLY DON'T SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. YOU HAVE THAT RIGHT AS LONG AS YOUR NOT VIOLENT ABOUT IT.
to close this, Making it a felony for anyone in America to hire an illegal immigrant would go a long method toward discouraging those bent on hopping the border to make a living. If the money river dries up, the "fish" will swim back from whence they came. The root of the problem, however, the possessions find cheap labor outside the borders. reality is also a serious problem for mexico. Illegals are to blame. You cannot fault just the employer.

The illegals know that it is unlawful to cross the border without a visa and yet they do it. They show no respect for the laws of this country.

And to bring back jobs, they steal id, ssns or make replicated ones. Most employers wont know until ssn verifies the ssn. And if the employers hire the unjust knowingly then they should be punished too.

It is okay to be against iilegals. They broke the law and you, approaching many others dislike law breakers.
Most people follow the canon but here you see a very large number of the same type of general public who rather break the laws of this country than follow it. That should say something almost their people, culture and their country.

Roy
well, personally, it's sort of rasict...i mean yea they come here illegaly, but you have to realize that they are not here for drug dealing or something really illegal like that...besides, if my grandma be answering this question, she would've gone all argumentive about it, considering she is a mexican gypsy herself...
seriously, WTF! adjectives i said was my opinion and i get a thumbs down! NO, in attendance is NOTHING WRONG with you!
It's only TOO BAD our STUPID Senators & Congress people don't grain the SAME AS YOU DO and get off their FAT AZZES!!
b-t-w, Were you aware about what: HOOVER AND EISENHOWER did?
Here is something that should be of great interest for you to.
I didn't know of this until it be pointed out to me. But, back during the Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of all "illegal aliens" contained by order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
And afterwards again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 MILLION Mexican nationals! The program was call "Operation Wet back" so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 years, but they deported them!
Now, if they could Deport the "ILLEGALS" vertebrae then, they can sure do it today!! If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter "Operation Wet back" into your favorite look into engine and confirm it for yourself.
Annnnnnd~ AZZHOLE Hillary and her Buddy Ted (the DRUNK) Kennedy of Massachussetes said, "It would be IMPOSSIBLE" to Deport 12 Million ILLEGALS!
Hmmmmmmmm, GO FIGURE!!??
p.s. The word Wet-back is one word...Y!A kept givning it ******* So, when you look it up, use it all as one word.
No, however, given your parents heritage it was much easier for them to get here than read out blacks or Hispanics! In most countries you don't even have a chance to even visit the US rightfully as the US embassy's will not give visa's. it is easy for a German or a person from England to obtain one!

I understand peoples frustration with illegals. The only justification, for the most part, that they are in this country is to work. If you want to be angry at someone, be angry at those who are hiring them illegally, forcing your wages down! I don't blame illegals for that. I blame the Americans who are their employer, most Republicans. That is why nothing gets done about it. The Republican deputation is totally split on this issue as most are their employers!

I believe your frustration, or anger, is misplaced. If you want to stop illegals stop hiring them. Tell that to a California or Florida farmer! FAT CHANCE! Those are the real problems, and us as capably, we expect our fruit to be cheap and are not willing to pay a decent wage that would drive up prices!

For the journal:

"No, it's RIGHT to be against crime. Illegal immigration IS crime."

Illegally being in this country is a CIVIL offense, NOT a crime. Hiring them is a CRIME!
No. it's only wrong to be a republican. Yes,because you are denying people the chance to be free adn hold a good time and it is wrong you are a racist because you like legal immigrnats adn not prohibited ones i mean what if say one women was against undemocratic immigration and then she had a baby surrounded by the united states adn then 1 year later she have a baby in mexico and then she moved out the baby there to die in mexico and if she did not after she would leave the baby there and never similar to it because it does not have a green card adn stuff
No, it's not wrong to be against illegal immigration. It means you respect the laws and system of your country. While it may be that Latin American governments really aren't viewed as peoples; representatives and more as a corrupt body that dictates laws to associates; the American identity is tied up in the way our government be established. If you reject the idea for government and the laws that our administration has established then you reject the whole country. I don't want population here that don't like our country; it's totally immoral.

Love Canada: Our level of immigration is calculated by how several people we can absorb. It has be my experience living and working in a neighborhood largely populated by immigrants that the vast majority win on food stamps as soon as they can. Many of my legal coworkers often use the emergency room rather than remuneration to see the doctor (they can afford it too). It really is a burden, that's why we're not doing that.

rhsaunders: That's just a slippery slope fallacy (see wikipedia). If there be no source of cheap underpaid labor to harvest food, the farmers would be force to raise prices and get endorsed workers that would be paid a fair wage. Farmers in my state are already have trouble finding workers. If it were possible to stop all illegal immigration, it wouldn't be the crisis that you engineer it out to be.
NO! nought wrong with being against Illegal aliens, they're breaking our laws.

your parents come here legally and play by the rules. something the illegal aliens didn't do...
its so simple to judge, but i tell adjectives you Americans what would you do if your country had no economy, their were no job, lacked educational services, health safekeeping services every thing you take for granted, and your children starving wouldent you want a better life, in most cases all this occur because of the actions of America like thousnads of Iraqi Refugees, one day you will experience it for yourself, you will know how inhabitants decide to become illegal immigrants, a moment ago as easily as you becae rich, you will become poor , its all about time. Never wrong to be against it. I enjoy to laugh at others when they suggest that a solution is it increase our legal immigration numbers. Why on earth would / should we do that? We already hold 300 million people in this country, we don't NEED more people who cannot or will not swot up to speak english.
It is wrong to favor or excuse lawbreaker. In the US, one of our founding principles is that no one is above the law, and we nearly impeached a president to reaffirm and uphold that principle. Anyone who excuses, or worse, promotes, immigration-law violation disdains one of the very principles that made this country great and undermines our country.

No immigration-law violator should ever be allowed to enter or remain in this country because they deny what it is so tremendously important to making a country's laws just and equitable. Immigration-law violators claim they hold an "excuse" that makes them above the law, and that claim is immoral, wrong and inequitable -- the very things this country's citizens have always fought against.
No, it's RIGHT to be against crime. Illegal immigration IS crime. No honey its wrong for you to be FOR private immigration.
I am all for ethnic group looking for refuge in a country that offers them opportunity and freedom .... the problem is that them coming here certainly affects OUR freedom.

Try to get on a plane or get a driver's license and you will know what I mean.

Although most citizens coming in to the US illegally have accurate intentions, there are also people here that intend to harm us.

It should be a priority to numeral out who is who, and then help those that WANT to be Americans achieve that dream.
It's never wrong to abide by the canon. No
According to yahoo, it is. My question "Question: Part I. Is it racist to call unsanctioned immegrants "Illigals"?
Question Details: Part II. What if you are not referring to mexicans only? What if you are referring to any person of any nationality who enter the United States illegally as Illegals. Part III. If you answered yes to either, then Why?

No. But it is important to keep things contained by perspective. It is estimated that there are twelve million illegal immigrants surrounded by the US, and it is likely that some of them harvested your dinner. It is clearly silly to suppose that evicting all of them is any possible or practical, and many have been here for years and are powerfully established in the community. There needs to be some mechanism for legalize these people; it is appropriate that this mechanism be more difficult and costly than for those who arrived legally, but to verbs leaving these people on the periphery of society is foolish. To a foreign observer I amused that you can't ramp up your permissible immigration to get rid of the problem of illegal immigration??
