UK citizen surrounded by a Canadian university?

I'm a UK citizen, studying A levels here, and hoping to become a surgeon or specialized doctor later on in energy. I want to move to Canada, and attend university there, but I don't know anything about living or studying overseas. Does anybody have any information or suggestion they could give to me?

Are you on the undergraduate list??
McGill University in Montreal is an excellent institution

however, i would point you surrounded by the direction of america, though you brits are more informed and you probably think america is a cesspool of white trash and idiots in government, i have an idea that you should not underestimate america's universities. i would suggest Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania or Johns Hopkins U in Blatimore, MD.

Medical studies in Canada begin after a four year undergraduate level.
