If it's on increasing legal immigration, you should concentrate on how much it have help bring up the standard of living in the US and Ireland. That a regulated immigration system would bring in the proper amount of literary and labor to ensure strong growth. Increasing the number of highly educated would help create the big value items for trade and bring up the standard of living. Lots of garbage about how British ethnic group are too lazy to work and so we need foreign workers, or British people are stupid and uninformed and we need skilled workers from abroad.
Also the fact that it benefits big business by allowing them to hold their wage costs down and avoiding a situation of full employment.
