Why do pro unjust immigrant activist return with so angry at 85% of amercans that dont want unjust aliens.?

This intact debate reminds me of titanic. The scene where the ship has sunk and there are a few rich and superior class people in the life boats while lots are floating on the water.
The majority of those on board the boats ofcourse didn't want anymore people to fix together them. And the few who protested were forced to shut up.
So on one side you got all these poor society floating on water wanting to have a place in lifeboats . And on the other side you get the people who have already found a place in past the worst and don't want any more to join because they're afraid their life boat will sink too.
Because they think them wrong. They construe that sometimes a majority is not morally or ethically correct. They remember when the majority thought slavery a good thing.
