Why Americans are starting to really dislike Illegal immigrant?
Answers:
I'm tired of seeing family getting something for nothing at my expense. My taxpayer dollars go towards illegals medical care, increaed police and prison costs, and increased institution costs for their children. They come here and make neighborhoods ghetto's. They want to live by their own set of rules and do whatever they want. Then they make demands for rights when they've disrespected this country. That's why I dislike them.
Americans have ALWAYS hated illegal immigration. Ever since the problem started fund in the 60's or 70's or something. It's not a new problem.
Reason being - some tend to knock about the US birthright citizenship law, and work illegally under the table, and several Americans believe that illegal immigrants are the source of the economic downfall lately. (It have SOME truth, but is mostly bullsh*t to be honest - the problem has a MUCH bigger horizon than illegal immigrants working)
Many Legal Immigrants within the USA may hate the Illegals, because they are getting in easier, and "cutting the line" - which they salaried so much for, and waited so long to get a visa to live in the US.
Furthermore, if the US ever grant another Amnesty to illegal immigrants, it'd be a slap in the frontage to legal immigrants who paid and wait so long for, just to have a few people who run over the border or over-stayed a visa be granted US Citizenship, which any legal immigrant has to wait five years to apply for, which made the problem worse, because if anything; it ENCOURAGED unjust immigration, not do one single thing to stop it.
I understand illegal immigrant's motives, they're not really moral criminals (they want to live a country thats richer and offer more opportunities rather than their third-world "sh*thole"). But they what they do, is very unwarranted to the country's resources, citizens and it's legal immigrants.
You have the ones to poor to get a visa that often back up on welfare, gang members, running from the police,And militery deserters.and now gang members looking for exotic territory.Who would like them
I detect a certain kind of hypocrisy in American attitudes to unfair immigrants. Like this official from Homeland Security who was joyful to employ them:
http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog
Illegal immigrants are exploited as cheap labour within the US, just as they are in Europe. You have to ask yourself who benefits - and it surely is not the immigrant themselves.
78% of Americans are against illegal immigration. I wouldn't consider that "starting", but a definitive inference that has been long held.
Perhaps they are more vocal and heartfelt than in the past. My guess is that this economic downturn have many individuals concerned about the livelihood of their own families; seeing criminals who no right whatsoever to be here verbs to leech off of us -- while we have Americans near families suffering in this economy -- may be setting their teeth on lip.
Understandable, isn't it?
Starting!
This discrimination started after the U.S. /Mexican war.
Racism be in place before the Undocumented became an issue, Immigration have made it possible for the Haters to come out of the closet and into the public.
In the 1940 when I started grade school in Arizona adjectives Mexicans were placed in the 1C and the brainwashing started on the process of assimilation, and beatings for speaking Spanish, Now 71 years following , my primary language is still Spanish.
I think most in the United States remember how the Southwest be stolen by the illegal racist slaver criminals, that would not abide by Mexican law. Now you see the same scheduled to the U.S... What goes around comes around !
Dirty Martini is at it again, read what Americans really feel about the Undocumented (not neo con) lies

We may dislike you but it is from the Illegal Groups that we find nothing likable
What do you mean "start". Back contained by the dark ages, when I was in class school, I lived in El Paso. The school I go to used to be a border station. I dug bullets out of the walls where Mexican and American border guards used to trade shots at one another.
The illegal has other been a thorn in the side of American immigration policy. Just because we want to know who, what, where and when populace enter our house, the Mexican takes offense at it. I never experienced racism directed against me until I moved to El Paso and I'm here to tell you it is more rampant there that anywhere else I've ever be and I've been just about everywhere.
So you hate us?
Good.
Hate us more.
One doesn't enjoy to look very far to the Home Depot parking lots full of individuals who can barely add and subtract; to the neighborhoods within Los Angeles and elsewhere that have been reduced to war zone, etc. We are an increasingly technical society that needs people beside advanced degrees not millions of tiny, barely literate mestizos. We get the cream of the crop from India and sometimes the worst of the worst from Mexico. One is trial, the other is not. I do not respect their culture south of the border nor do I want criminality to be forcefully imposed upon us by a culture that through corruption cannot begin to address their own needs let alone ours. I have expected my own government to protect me from this human debacle but it seems of behind that even asking our own to enforce laws already in place has become too much to hope for.
By draining public funds, creating unfair competition for jobs with America’s least possible prepared workers and thereby lowering wages and working conditions, and by imposing unwanted strains on services designed to provide assistance to Americans, illegal immigration causes damage to Americans and legal residents.
well i will say this i work near illegal mexicans and my best friend is illegal and i have no problem beside them at all. untilllllllllll i saw them have that day that they stopped working and be on the news saying they are what made america ,wow did my view switch
i still am friendly with the person but i often inform him you no what you guys made a mistake that day
The late Congressman Sonny Bono (formerly of Sonny and Cher) said it best:
"Bono possessed an atypically candid style. When asked to talk about unjust immigration, he once replied, "What's to talk about? It's illegal." "
More and more U.S. citizen tax payers are becoming more aware of how much illegal aliens cost. The illegals refuse to assimilate and discern entitled to things that are designed for U.S. citizens. They need to do it legally and then in that is no problem.
It always happens when the reduction starts to tank like it has be.
Americans believe that the illegals are stealing jobs from American citizens
Starting? The are breaking the tenet, their kids are over crowding our public schools, and they are, as a group are bankrupting our health care system and social services.
I'm American and I don't. I do think we need to reform out immigration law to be more accessible to various populations so that does not end up their only pick to come to the US. So thumb me down if you want, that's your call. But please do not group me in with the so-called 78% or "All Americans loathe...". Hate is a very strong emotion. Feeling it towards complete strangers is unwarranted, in ANY situation. Dislike, in good health, that I could understand based on your own experiences etc... However, just as I would prefer to not own my stance steamrolled over by some of the other responders who claim to speak for ALL Americans, it is really not a wise thing to lump the actions of adjectives undocumented immigrants together. Some of our citizens appear to believe that they live in a bubble-world of sorts that revolves entirely around them. I would love a world that revolves around me. Much less complicated, but much smaller number real.
It also appears that some our my fellow citizens choose to not educate themselves on the reasoning/situations behind the migration of oodles undocumented immigrants in an OBJECTIVE manner. They forgot to rob history seriously in High school, who knows.
But subsidise to your question, if you feel you are noticing a sudden upsurge contained by negative comments about undocumented immigrants, to me at this perceived time of financial despair (in relation to our national economic history only - since it has be much worse elsewhere for much longer) it comes down to that old favorite finger-pointing game:
Scapegoating.
And guess who gets call up first....
(BTW - Are any of those who included the word "hate" in their response, also hating the auto industry and banking corporations right in a minute?? Just curious)
Paranoia, misinformation, right wing groups whipping up racial revulsion, governments trying to scare them with terrorist stories, that sort of piece.
Because they broke the law and we just lost lost 500,000 more jobs this long-gone quarter.
they aren't taking job away. how many americans do u see picking apples, cheries, or any vegetables or fruits?
they come here and milk off the USA tax payer. They collect all they can seize and they fly their countries flag in the USA. It is their way of saying that the conquered the American system
For the same reason we don't approaching trespassers on our property, they have absolutely no legal right to enter this country, remain here or work here.
There's a recession right now and Americans are having a easier said than done time getting jobs.
I own no idea but I think that most of them don't even have a dutiful enough reason to feel that process towards them.
because they come here dishonestly take our jobs and their wives and girlfriends have tons of kids contained by which we have to pay for and they wont learn or speak english.
I would suggest because it degrades anyone who was born or reasonably immigrated to the US.
Starting?? I think most do not like the model that they have in fact broken our law just by coming illegally. Add to that the cost to us taxpayers which is outrageous. The illegals need to travel back from where they came. IF they truly want to become official citizens of this country, then apply at the front door, and we will welcome you with unstop arms.
They are taking all the jobs. Its the same here within the uk.
Because they broke the canon and we just lost lost 500,000 more jobs this past quarter.
============================
What is difficult almost this. NOTHING is difficult about this. It turns out we lost a few more hundred thousand in the last couple of hours, but this will do fine.
Tell your congressman.
Tell your congressman this is our country... and we don't want them bringing, or allowing the evil aliens to our country. GET THEM REMOVED!
We need a national ballot iniative.. bad.
Because the peasants always panic and lash out at doesn`t matter what they are told to be frightened of.
I refer you to the original story of 'Frankenstein'. Or alternatively, the first 'Shrek' movie.
Some of the reason could be:
1. They may pose a threat to the US.
2. They receive free housing using our tax dollars.
3. They receive welfare and food stamps.
4. They attend our schools free.
5. They are filling up the prisions at an alarming rate.
6. They receive free form care.
7. Some are sexual predators and we have no way to track them.
8. Some are drug lords. Unless you did not know in that is a war going on the the Mexican border with them right now.
9. They are commiting horrendous crimes here approaching rape, murder, etc. and fleeing back to their own country to avoid prosecution.
10. And then they want to change our national discourse!
Need I say more!
