If you already on locata beside an other housing council as an homeseeker can you apply to another council again?

Answers:
you would have to speak to the councils within question but i dont expect so because of housing benefit fraud ec. there would be nothing to enunciate you accepted a house with one council, claimed housing benefit etc and didnt actually live nearby, or rented it to someone else. then took another house with another council and did the same again.

so i cogitate you answer would be NO
Yes you can.

section 166 (3) of the 2002 homelessness act states:

"Every application made to a local housing authority for an allocation of housing back-to-back shall - (If made in accordance with the procedural requirements of the authority's allocation scheme) be considered by the authority."

You could apply to every council in the country and they'd adjectives have a legal duty to consider your application. Source(s): http://www.underoneroofexchange.co.uk/ex…

Councils aren't allowed to close their lists to people outside their boundaries. So, yes - you can apply - but you might find that local people are awarded local nouns points giving them a teeny edge over non residents (but not much of one.)
Of course you can
