American people don't usually get upset about things that scarcely affect them, unless there are politicians and media pundits screaming at them about how surrounded by danger they are, which they periodically do about immigration.
The next 4 years could be much worse than the later 8 if McCain gets elected and croaks. It is almost surreal that anybody takes this woman seriously as a potential President. For the love of God, this is the most powerful nation in the world, you don't only risk world annihilation by tossing the presidency to somebody because she's attractive and didn't abort her Down syndrome-affected baby. Nobody knows anything about this female or her judgment or decision-making skills! I'm reading a biography of George Washington and it literally almost made me cry to imagine how disappointed and catastrophic that great man would be at the gimmicks, the cynicism, and the total disregard for what is really best for the country, that politicians now exhibit, particularly contained by the neocon era.
Well we never hear them talk about over population that we'll have and the famine of resources to provide for them all either. It doesn't change the facts that these are still on the American citizens minds.
Immigration is a touchy subject for them (the reps) to maintain responding to openly where the Americans see what they're still up to. It's still behind closed doors politics near both the Democrats and Republicans. Bills and Policies passed without ever voting on most of them.
I wouldn't say that Sarah Palin couldn't run the country if something happened to McCain. No one question the numerous other women who have been elected to govern their countries around the world. We know nothing of them any, yet they seem to be doing well within their elected positions to lead their countries. Sarah Palin is a fresh face, and not corrupted for the political force in Washington to bring if McCain and she wins. I think she has done a better chore for the state Alaska then our current politicians have done for this whole country contained by the last 2 to 40 years.

I read about deportations daily, I think they are keeping it silent so the PC crowd dont freak out. But yea they arrested 600 illegals recently at one place. besides other small raids all over the country. The politicians want that drum up support money from corporations that hire cheap labor, and the latino vote.
