How undemocratic is it to marry an immigrant so that they can stay surrounded by the US?
Like, I would marry him for a couple months and then divorce. Also, how much would that affect my taxes, etc? How much does INS investigate these things? I have no Idea what to do. as he's a friend, not a romantic interest, I feel discouraging that he would have to go back to his ingenious country. any suggestions?
