Does Brain Drain individual refer to immigrants-those who walk out their country to serve some other countries?
What about those citizens who live within the country to serve / do service / job / working for foreign companies?
More more than ever / specifically abt BPO, KPO & ITeS?
Instead of contributing to Research Innovation Indigenous National Development towards self-reliance ...

In a country where jobs are few and far between to secure,working beside BPOs,KPOs
etc.at least places food on the tables of lots of homes.Contributing to research & development
indigenisation etc.would not be average to
feed.clothe and put a roof over the heads of
even two persons ,confer on alone their progeny.
In short,the job opportunities being fixed,the
competition fierce and even cutthroat,the
population continuing to burgeon without any let up,the extent of any advancement in career
being not too bright,nation tend to grab any post or opening that comes their way lacking having any time to give thought to research etc.
However,one bright spot on the horizon is that
the people going overseas are genesis to realize that the El Dorado they sought is turning out to be part myth which is why one now reads going on for the reverse brain drain.
By Definition Brain drain DOES reffer to high-skill workers leaving their homeland,
Now the issue you mention of this same people working within their country for a foreign company IS NOT brain drain per se but i can see where on earth you are going with this... At the very least the host country keep a worker that consumes, produces output even if most of it goes abroad.
