How does Amenesty look for 2009?
Just wondering with new party going within I will be able to get amnesty. Have 2 american girls. 3 and 1. Cant work, no ssn. No drivers license. I want to better myself but cannot. Don't want to marry just anyone. I hold lived here since 2002. Will I be first on list. Cannot afford immigration lawyer. Thank you

It won't happen. The majority of Americans do not want it. Should something like amnesty come up for a vote, or close to it, the switchboards would light up near people expressing their disproval, and the amnesty not passing.
I don't believe that will be so.
The children that are born of illegal aliens, by the way, are not American Citizens. The 14th Amendment tell us very clearly that the children of diplomats, illegal aliens, and visitors, are not granted birth right citizenship. They follow the citizenship of the mother. I would truly suggest that if you are an prohibited alien, get down to Mexico fast, before you are caught, and apply to come rear legs the legal way.
OH! it's on it's way, but not fast enough to relieve our economy. There's just too many issues that the Republicans disappeared or created, and that's going to push Amnesty back some.....too bad!
You can bet the farm on it. It's a done deal. Of course it won't really be amnesty, you'll hold to pay a $200 fine. You should have your US citizenship in time to vote surrounded by the 2012 election.

here it comes! but like greasy mentioned, it won't crop up right away. Americans like the ones that have answered negatively don't know what good Amnesty will bring to this country especially when the discount is the way it is right now.
Amnesty means that companies that entail them won't lose out millions of dollars, it means that farms will stop moving to Mexico to find workers, it's means that doors to colleges will break open up for these people. More educated immigrants vehicle a better future for us.
