Does gay domestic partnership serve immigrant gain a visa or citizenship?

I'm just curious. If gay domestic partnerships are legal contained by California, then would that mean that if one gay citizen is wanting to get a domestic partnership next to another gay [but this gay is an illegal immigrant] would this work in the immigrants favor of granting him irreversible visa or citizenship?
Answers:
NO.
California has this craving of forgetting that Federal law has the last read out and as of yet the Federal Gov. does not recognize domestic unions.
NO

gay relationships are NOT recognised by federal directive in USA.
And since Immigration in USA is federal law - NOT state canon - then what you ask is NOT possible in USA.

It is possible in Canada though.
However the unofficial person needs to be in official status before he can be admitted to Canada
No, It does not. Gay unions are not recognized at a federal level

Can a Us citizen set up a partnership business beside a non-immigrant?
Can an F2 visa status holder be in a partnership business with a Us citizen yes but I would advise both individuals to aim competent legal assistance. Partnership arrangements are dangerous at best.
