Does a greencard come next to a K-3 Visa?

My K-3 Visa has recently been approved to enter the US. I be wondering if I will be able to work when I get to the US or will I have to apply again for some sort of work certification?

No. That's why you should NOT have gone the K-3 route. You can get IR-1/CR-1 in duplicate amount of time. With IR-1/CR-1 you get your green card in the mail just about a month after arriving in the United States

With K-3 you will have to adjust status once you get to the United States. The cost is $1,010. It will bring an additional 6 to 12 months before you get your green card. As a part of a set of the adjustment of status package you'll have to apply for a work permit.
Persons in K-3 status are eligible to apply for a work permit while their cases (Form I-485) are pending. To apply for a work authorization, an applicant must send a Form I-765 Application for Employment Authorization, with the appropriate filing allowance and supporting to documents to the following address:
