Does my stay here as a live-in caregiver affect our application as land immigrant?
i'm working here in toronto for more than a year as a live-in caregiver. At the same time my husband has an application as land immigrant and now the canadian embassy responded that we have to submit all the documents for assesment. Does my stay here,as a live-in caregiver affect our application? please i have need of you help & advise.
Answers:
Your undertaking should not affect the application.
Assuming you are legally contained by Canada, it does not matter what job you are doing. Your husband has file for a landed immigrant (since you or your husband have been contacted by the Canadian Embassy). They probably stipulation to verify all the documents and statements submited by you and your husband in support of your case.
Your stay as a live-in precision giver should not affect your application so long as you are legally in Canada.
Hi there,
No your profession wont affect your husband's trying to get landed status, you need to submit to the senate that you're working here, submit a copy of your Temporary Work Permit. And in a year you will be able to apply for a landed Immigrant as powerfully, and you'll be granted status very likely.
I used to be a live-in caregiver as well, and as long as you hold a job at the time of applying you'll get your Permanent Resident Status.
But honestly I dont see how it would affect your husband.
The thing is as him human being your husband you both need to apply for landed immigrant status... if your husband is approved-Im guessing he has a scope on something??
Then you will be approved too!
Dont worry it'll all be fine! I know it's tough but you'll do OK.
If anything, I think it would be a help to his application.
Resolved Questions:

Just run over the border then back when you need support in. No one cares anymore now that Obama is president. By nouns passport and green card. By car soon to be passport and green card.
