I own lost my indian passport out of the country.immediately i hold to apply for a current one.what are the procedures and documents?
do i need to file FIR here in india? and also will nearby be any police varification once again as when we apply for 1st time?

hai mr.i got the experience of it.first take your out pass by, ration card with present address,identity proof with photo and if you have your cetificates or t.c to prove your nickname and date of birth and you have to fill up the application form for the new passport thru online and they will donate you the appoinment on the online application.you have to go to the passport office beside all the documents original and two sets of xerox copies.there are two ways of payoff to pay to the passport office.1. if your passport expired and you lost it.you have to retribution only Rs.1000.00(one thousand only) 2. if your passport was live and it was lost ,you hold to pay the penalty of Rs.1500(one thousand five hundred only) inclding one thousand. you submit and wait for two to three weaks and jump and check the passport status in online.you may know what is going on.then you email to me i will help you my friend.booji1@ymail.com

Go directly to the nearest indian embassy and apply for a new passport for a nominal fee. Nothing to do contained by India.
