Should U.S. govt. variety it easier for "Poor or Semi-Skilled immigrants" to lawfully immigrate to the USA?

Answers:
Not right now. Our unemployment is big. When we recover perhaps.
How much easier can we make it. Noland Security has an open border policy. They force the release of against the law rapist, murders, and thugs. Anyone going through channels to gain citizenship is put to the back of the line of the 20 million surrounded by this country illegally.

Semi Skilled- Working in construction for 30 years in Arizona I know within is no skill involved what so ever. These illegals tear up others work as they unskillfully tear through the job.
Hell, no! We have unemployment rates in the double digits. Moratorium on adjectives immigration.
We already admit, through "family reunification", going on for 800, LEGAL immigrants each year, many of whom are unskilled and illiterate.

Immigration policy first and foremost should be for the good the the U.S. and AMERICAN citizens. It is not good for us to import empire who compete directly with our poorest citizens for jobs, and who, even when they're working, still require massive subsidies from taxpayers.

You might also note that the one country sending the most legalized immigrants and illegal aliens for the past two decades is Mexico, which have the 13th largest GDP in the world. It is a WEALTHY country
but CHOOSES not to provide educations or healthcare for its citizens, a fact that helps to save much of the population in poverty. If a lack of education and skills is moral for a country, then why is Mexico so eager to get rid of its poorest and tiniest able citizens?
as long as they work and don't commit crimes. ain't nothing wrong with that. self illegal doesn't count as a serious crime.
Nope, if they dont contribute anything to society they should be placed further down the catalogue starting with the highest skilled to the lowest. Then its the waiting game later, or get better skilled.
NO! they should make it easier for ALL immigrants. Because this will stop the number of people being desperate to come here illegally. And in that are no plans to make it easier for only Poor or Semi-skilled immigrants.
NO, these are the type who end up using system programs the most. They also tend to have larger families. They would more than likely finish off up being a drain instead of contributing.
no, otherwise a half of the world will be within the US.
we have enough poor and semi-skilled citizens already surrounded by the country
No! It shouldn't be easier for them to get into the US. Does anyone remember 9/11? Not all immigrant are honest, hard-working individuals. We're in for more terrorists attacks if we do!
They should make it easier for anyone and everyone.
It isn't your choice where on earth your born and if you believe you can offer your spouse and family a better life would you not do it? I believe most of these answers are coming from Americans who hold never had to face hardships surrounded by another country. What if by chance the United States became one of the worst places to live and your only coincidence at some sort of a life was to go to another country and work a min wage assignment. It is hopes and dreams that people are looking for but it is to be crushed by people with authoritarian minds. They don't come here to offend you they just want a chance. And for adjectives the unskilled americans out there why doesn't every country in the world ban you from entering another country because you are considered worthless. Makes you suppose doesn't it?
Many of those people that go to your country and very unyielding workers and they don't get half the pay they deserve. Extremely racist comments here....why don't you get hold of off of mommas nipple spolied children.
we have adequate of those whom seem to be so good with their hand they are able to reach down deep within our pockets and steal all our money without breaking a sweat.
um no.
The country is always going to need farm workers and burger flippers and Democratic voters.
