All I can say is that it is very important he doesn't miss the appointment and arrives in good time. I think this list of Hondurian Consulates(embajadas) would help you. Give them a telephone call and they can help you.Click below:

This is a standard procedure for most applications. Find out where the support center is, and make sure you bring ID and the missive. it doesnt take long to do and is easy. If you cannot make the appointment date you can reschedule by checking the box on the bottom and mail it back, they will send you another letter next to a new date. In some cases, you can call the support center and see if they allow walk-in's, if they do, then you may be capable of go in at an earlier morning.

good luck and don't worry!
If you're an American, why would your husband apply for asylum? Why wouldn't you file an immigrant visa petition for him instead? Chances are pretty good he won't be eligible for asylum, and if he's applying for asylum, he certainly can't budge home to Honduras at the same time he's applying for asylum from that country.
This is a standard procedure once USCIS review the biometrics they will follow up and review the asylum application in order to sort a decision, this appointment its very important remember to transport a valid and unexpired ID. Good Luck!!
Deep breaths now... they fingerprint and photograph everyone who get a permanent residence visa. Chill, and make sure he arrives for his appointment on the right day and at the right time, and that you know how to get hold of to the support center mentioned in the letter. I can't tell you whether he will be approved or not, but this memorandum doesn't mean anything is wrong.
