Legal status cross-question?
I want to marry my girlfriend, but she is illegal. I've known her since 8th grade and I'm 20 right immediately. I was going to call a lawyer but I want to know what to expect back I do..

At this point you do not need a lawyer. If you marry and if you are a citizen or legal resident, you can apply for an immigrant visa for her
by file petition form I-130. If she entered lawfully but overstayed,
she can concurrently file an application for adjustment of status
'(form I-485). If she enter unlawfully, she would have to obtain
the visa outside the US at a US consulate. For the forms and
