If I'm married to an unfair immigrant, is she intitled to stay within the uk?
My wife has lived in this country for 10 years now and we enjoy two children together. I was born and bread in this country and I'm fully english. Is there a slight unsystematic that she is ok to remain in this country?

Being married to a British citizen does not automatically mean that your application for her would be granted. You, yourself have to join certain requirements for this to happen. As she is illegal, I assume by that statement she is from outside the EU. Therefore you would enjoy to apply for the correct spousal visa for her to be here before you applied for ILR. You have to get her permissible. If she ends up in Hospital and they find her to be illegal, they will deport her. Worst case scenario near, sorry but you can't put everyone at risk in your family because of avoiding the paperwork to become Legal.
