Question for ethnic group who are anti-immigration?
Not all immigrants are criminals. No more than any citizen at least. How do you get the impression about the immigrants(or children of immigrants) who are college educated and contributing to this society?

I don't dislike Mexicans, but illegals are another piece all together, they are not documented, which means they can kill you and skip support across the border and that will be the end of it, the other problem I have with it, is Mexico would not close to 50 million Americans showing up unannounced and paying for their health problems. no country would, the other thing is Mexico has a standing army on our soil, adjectives they have to do is declare war, the troops are already here--no other country would allow that either**********
I believe there is a need for harmonize. Frankly I see the problem with Legal Immigrants, Visa over stayer, and those who lied to get their immiration status. Employers higher over sea, purposefully to lower American wages, but the big problem is most from oversees, do not have an equivalent education as the American counterpart. I saw some news item that Philipinnes are sending their doctors to work as our nurses. They try to create it sound like a good article. First of, some of our nurses know more about medicine then doctors within other countries. Second, many of them still have the ego of an American doctors. IF you look at the medical field, ther are greatly of people who came her looking for nursing jobs, but terminate up working as assistants, because they lack the training to be nurses, despite their degree. Last year, the US caught the Philippines helping Nurses pass their board exams. I see similar problems surrounded by the computer industries as well. Colleges are popping all over India training Computer and Engineering majors. These colleges do not really train their students, but just appendage over degrees as long as their check is good. I was todl that similar endeavours is popping up all over the world. Even in Russia, their educational system have been compromise to the point of Diploma mills have become common. My experience is that these colleges exist merely to give a hand people falsify documents to immigrate to the US. We need to tighten our immigration system to prevent these charitable of abuse from occuring. What I see is that people who came her on professional visas, but are immediately working in a job other than what they stated and for some defence are still here.

I guess I'm the most anti immigration. Let me ask this. DO you want to be seen by a honourable nurse, a nurse that barely qualifies, or a nurse that cheated to get here. Not adjectives immigrant's are bad professionals. I've seen good ones. They tend to come from rich family which can afford to send them to colleges that really educates. But this is the minority. Some of them are smart and make clothed professionals, but there are alot who somehow got the job but should not be working. I also see thsoe who can't acquire a job, and have to get a living as an assistant. In my industry, more than half should be sent back. TO those who think I'm aim, I have told those in various license that have failed their board exams, that I will help them study. Only one has taken my contribute and another college student of domestic origins has also taken my offer. Although they did not ask too much of me. I also have someone from Mexico taken my propose to help get her GED.
Do you mean permitted immigrants. I don't have a problem with decriminalized immigrants.
You mean against the law immigrants? I don't have a problem with officially recognized immigrants. But anyway...overpopulation. I don't recommend kicking them out, but more people in this country, no event what they're contributing, is not good. A better idea would be to establish stable governments and economy in those countries to make them better places to settle in, so the U.S. isn't that much of an immigrant magnet.
This country has gone through periods of time when immigrant weren't welcome. The Irish and the Italians were two groups who come to mind. What I object to are the immigrant who come here illegally and then are able to wallow in the benefits of this country.
I have no problem whatsoever with legal immigrant.I do,however,have a big problem with illegal immigrant.They are destroying our workforce and damaging our public education system that was already mediocre within the first place.I find it hypocritical of them to come here,refuse to learn English and demand rights.If we go to their countries and did this,we'd either end up in sentence to prison or deported ASAP ! There is no problem with immigrant who go through the proper procedures and who fall in file behind the thousands of applicants who've been waiting for many years (some for 20+ years). It's the "illegal" immigrant who cut in line by jumping the wall, buy fake papers, use our social services, and thumb their noses at the laws of our country. You enjoy to see the difference here. Yes, they are stealing from the citizens of the US. It's just that bleeding-heart liberals look the other way.

Clinton doubled the number of immigrants coming into this country. Then, unemployment was at 4% and the reduction looked good. Now, we are at 10% unemployment. Taxes are through the roof. Many immigrants (especially Hispanic groups, at 40%) are delivery food stamps. We have too many people coming into the USA today. per a million a year. We cannot sustain that rate of immigration lacking causing economic issues for Americans, As for the college-educated, they come here leaving a 'brain-drain' contained by their home country. Instead of making their home country better, they come here. How can their homeland improve when the best and brightest leave? Next, the poor migrant man that works here. He leaves behind a inherited. His kids have no male role model in the home, and he sends brass. The kids are ripe for recruitment by gangs. Good immigration benefits all. We ahve a poor crafted immigration policy, and one i.e. not enforced.

No one is anti-immigrant, The majority of citizens are against illegal aliens. They are not immigrant. Immigrants are not criminals, because they follow the laws. Illegal aliens do not. Illegal aliens are ruining this country, our economy would not be in as doomed to failure of shape if it were not the billions illegal aliens cost the taxpaying citizens.

I believe I am intensely much on your side of this issue, and all I can say is there's a ton of people who don't construe and therefore have thoughts that don't add up, no concern how much they'd like to think they do.
The United States has created a gigantic mess beside immigration law and policy over the last 40 years. The situation you describe with the children is one of the more difficult situations that exists, and it's truly quite sad. There have be attempts, recent attempts, to help out unlawful aliens who came here as young children by no bad habit of their own. We may see something come up soon, as recent legislation seeked to address this.
