GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Federal agents say they have detained more than 300 suspected illegal immigrant in a raid on a South Carolina chicken processing plant.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Kevin McDonald says the robbery began shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday during a shift change at House of Raeford's Columbia Farms plant.
Federal prosecutors and immigration agents enjoy been investigating the plant's hiring practices. McDonald says 12 people own been arrested in past months, and seven enjoy pleaded guilty.
McDonald says a recent review of 825 workers' immigration paperwork showed false information for more than 775.
A woman at the company's Rose Hill, N.C., headquarters had no immediate comment.

heard it on the radio and it made my hours of daylight, it is sickening that 775 workers paperwork showed false info. they should have arrested all 775.

Because you know how much putting all of the blue-collar factories out of business by exclusion all of their cheap labor is going to help out the US economy that is to say on the verge of falling flat on its face. Get real.

if it is 'illegal' to come into america without a green card, then why are there so tons illegal aliens here? we have to do everything legally, so why dont they? because law that aren't enforced are regularly broken if the government allows too many laws to be unenforced, relatives will become less inclined to obey any law ...
