Do Non-Europeans living contained by Switzerland (L Permit) entail a visa to pop in France?

Now I find that Germany will allow travel for L permit holders from 12.12.2008

Will this apply for travel to France too? I am unable to find a notice on French consulate website

Against my information given ending week they have added the type L permit holders to the visa free travel for tourists of up to 90 days effective December 12, 2008, 00:01 hrs. See the website of the French Consulate at Zürich for further information.
