Immigrants believe in the American dreams, because they be given a chance to do better in the U. S. Most of the people that I know made it in that because of the in demand Healthcare workers needs! Some could come as a teacher, doctors, majority are nurses and even just CNA's are doing good according to my friend ( they could buy their own chosen car, house , assist their family where they came from) I'm living contained by the North of the border and have relatives living there, they worked as nurses, Factory worker, my cousin in Hawaii have 3 butcher shops (great business) most of the rest have started their care Facilities (they are doing pretty well). I believe that most of the immigrants tend to do better because they really figure out the American dream is all about! American borns, won't be as ambitious as the immigrant because they didn't experience the hardship of duration around them. Most of the educated immigrants had see or experienced how their parents raise them; work harder to send them to schools , or sold their properties to of late to give a better future for them through education. In return, they will do better, plan better and study concrete to fullfill their dreams. U.S. is always be the #1 destination of every individual who thinks it will be the best place for them. I came from a country that there's no hand out. A naturalize citizen in my adopted country, I always conjecture that every individual has to work hard or get an tuition to be a successful. Hands out is only for the sick, the lazy, disable or people who have an addiction problem.
American dreams are for everybody but it depends on the individuals as well!
You may be insulting people saying this. First of all, heaps immigrants who have been here for a while and enjoy built a life here consider themselves Americans (and why shouldn't they?). Also, you shouldn't say that they believe more in the American dream, lately that they have strong belief in the American dream.
Maybe it should be more about how "Immigrants believe AS MUCH contained by the American dram as Americans who were born here do."
And yes, many immigrants touch strongly about the American dream. Both my parents came to this country when they were children. My mom say that she is as much of an American as an other American and she is so grateful for the opportunities she has had within this country.
You are right in the sense that Citizens of this country take for granted what most people would distribute to live here. The fact you have a decent coaching system and though currently in recession. The USA is still MUCH MUCH richer and freer then most countries.
You believe that the minimum wage is a joke, but to a immigrant(legal or illegal) making 5 dollars an hour is glory. I know for a fact ,workers in Columbia some on average get remunerated 6 dollars A DAY.
Most American's wouldn't want to fight in a war if they do not call for to know. but i'm telling you if the Government was smart enough, they should really allow a few thousands immigrant become soldiers and earn their green cards. Damn , even I would do that. It's such a better and more effective way in my vista.
It's unfortunate that many Americans feel smaller amount patriotic in these hard times, more so than the immigrant. I believe that there are several reasons why, but in short, I believe that Americans are disappointed beside our current economical situation, therefore expressing negative attitudes, while immigrants are appreciative for what they have because in their own country of origin they would enjoy less than what they do now.
If you came up with the topic yourself, I would refine it by discussing how certain immigrant groups are more imagined to start their own businesses than those who are born here.
There is a wealth of information available about the fact that immigrant are 30% more likely than native born Americans to work for themselves.
If, however, you were assigned to write almost who has more belief in the "American Dream," then any flattery about fat, lazy Americans and industrious, well-educated foreigners should be fine. Just write painstakingly and repeat stuff you teacher told you.
And consider starting your own business. You will learn a lot roughly speaking how the world works. Source(s): http://www.sba.gov/advo/research/rs334to...
You are going to have a hard time writing a serious newspaper about something that isn't true.
