Im writing a rag for my psychology class. The topic is almost private immigrant and domestic terror campaign. ?

My question is, can an illegal immigrant report a case of domestic anger to the police without getting in trouble because of thier legal status.
Answers:
Yes they can and they do.Some are scared to because of their legalized status. Some cops don't even care if the person is legal or not, some do.
A police officer is required to uphold our law. That means, if he suspects there is an illegal hobby taking place, he will have to investigate it.

Now, illegal immigration IS, by definition, illicit.

If an officer was to be called out to a site where name-calling was reported, and he has a reason to believe the residents are dubious, then he will refer the case to the immigration department. It will be their jurisdiction to investigate it further.

So, to answer your question, prohibited immigrants can get into 'trouble' when reporting other crimes, including domestic violence.
Tell them that should report it to The Department of Immigration and Naturalization.
Yes, and I have seen it done at my local police department.

tkquestion, to be exact only true if the local government is either undermining or following Federal ruling, and their officers are instructed as well as trained to turn them over to ICE.

If local government is undermining Federal tenet, then they deal with it on a local rank, and keep Immigration officers out of the loop.
I own this relative, and she was a victim ended up inthe hospital because she be brutally beaten by her husband so they put my uncle in jail and give my aunt papers to stay in the country
in fact any victim of of domestic violence who reports it, is entittled to residence in the United States..

i don't know why? but its true..
They can, but they don't because abundant are afraid of being deported. This is one big reason why the new immigration crackdown is so wrong! they are putting a climate of misgivings into immigrants, so there's a lot of crime and violence that go on without being reported. We are only tally to the safe haven of these violent criminals and rapist by scarying innocent immigrants from stepping up to police enforcement.

Deportation-wary migrants target of crime

A man threw a large rock at Gumercindo, hitting the 31-year-old Guatemalan immigrant in the head above the right eye. Gumercindo fell to the ground, blood pouring down his frontage, as the man ran away. He now has a defacement the size of a hockey puck where doctors operated to relieve pressure on his brain.

Gumercindo did not report the crime to police. He said that although he is afraid of criminals, he is even more afraid of being deported.

The attack on Gumercindo, and similar ones related by other Guatemalan immigrant in the Garfield neighborhood, is a sign that stepped-up enforcement of immigration laws is jeopardizing the safety of unjust immigrants, some immigrants and law-enforcement experts say.

Dozens of Guatemalan immigrant there say they are being routinely robbed by criminals who come by their apartment and constraint money. If they don't pay, they get beat up. But the Guatemalans, who are undocumented, hold not sought help from police because a general crackdown on illegal immigration have made them afraid.

But interviews with immigrants, advocates, landlords and pastor suggest more illegal immigrants are afraid to report crimes because they fear any encounter with local authorities.
Of course as long as he/she is in a sanctuary city.
