Do Mexicans know the treaty of Guadalupe Hildalgo?
When Mexico lost the Mexican-American war in 1853 they signed the treaty of Guadalupe Hildalgo. This treaty in essence finalized the boarder between Mexico and the United States...
If Mexico and their citizens today want to violate that treaty (which my process of illegal immigration they already are violating the treaty), shouldn't I have a right to protect my country by force?
Answers:
The treaty was decided on language by stronger nation bullying a weaker one. However the terms to the treaty are irrelevant, Mexicans aren't immoral or unethical; granted within are some of us that are, but don't generalize. Many enter illegally for the chance at a better life, some don't, but most do. If you want to protect your country by force, connect the military but we both know you won't do that.
imback_missme, really? your gonna fix it? what exactly are you gon do? How do some people think that making these empty threats will label their balls grow.
Apparently not.
For the confused few: The Treaty was NOT signed in Spain -The treaty was signed ...., at the biggest altar of the old Cathedral of Guadalupe at Villa Hidalgo (today Gustavo A. Madero, D.F.), slightly north of Mexico City....
I don't know if they understand it or not, but I do know that they simply don't thinking.
Somehow the fact that we beat their butts twice and then salaried for it doesn't seem to matter to them.
The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo (you may want to check your spelling) was signed Feb 02, 1848. I'm sure 1853 plays no part contained by the Treaty itself.
As for the issues covered in the treaty itself, you have to look some thirty year prior at the Adams-Onis Treaty inherited by Mexico and essentially used as their grounds to cut off diplomatic discussion with the U.S., the Adams-Onis Treaty was "commercial infinitum" with the U.S. relinquished all claims to Mexican territory.
Besides that treaty you must know roughly speaking the Treaties of Velasco from around 1835 and the facts that these weren't even thought as treaties until President Polk used them for justifing war.
Still there is 1847 Treaty of Cahuenga dealing with the shutting down of the Mexican - American War in California.
As for anyone violating any treaty, I will only make a contribution the one link below. If you choose not to read and study what you can't spell or give correct dates for, next my friend think of me as just another Mexican. What you fail to see is even Mexicans are instinctive Americans, we too can be educated.

The Alamo fell in 1836 to General Lopez among the dead be Jim Bowie and Davey Crockett.
It is because the actions of people such as Sam Houston that the Alamo is remembered as part of a success. As you say that is all within the past what good does it do to remember what is the history that our country is built upon.
Chief- The Alamo?
All is objective in love and war..... anyway that is adjectives in the past,I am pretty sure no tax paying American citizen will simply hand the deed to their property over to Mexico.
You are right our sovierenity has be threatened,I think alot of citizens are waiting for the elections in Nov. if the new president doesent fix this, the population will . WE ARE FED UP.
They understand it,they a moment ago don't respect it. They have a real problem with things approaching laws and morals. They teach it differently in Mexico. They bestow out the part where we paid them for the ground.
I don't think they want to understand it. It's easier to feign ignorance.
