Are you an immigrant or know an immigrant specifically still alive? May you please update me give or take a few yourself?
May you please tell me a bit about yourself? What I would like to know is: how you get here, why you decided to come here, where you came from, what you thought going on for America then when you were immigrating and what you think almost it know, why you had to leave your country,if there be a crisis that caused you to leave, how you traveled, how it was riding within or on that vehicle (the advantages and disadvantages of riding in or on that vehicle), and lastly the advantages and disadvantages of being an immigrant. Thank you very much I would greatly appreciate it if you answered my quiz thoroughly and thoughtfully giving me accurate info. This is not to be mean, harsh or rude to ask this question but it is for a report for arts school because we have to interview an immigrant but i don't have an immigrant in my kinfolk. Thank You very much for your participation!

well we crossed the rio grande river at night similar to around two in the morning it was real brown and the water was real cold. i didnt opt to come i was 7 when my moms brought me here. i wasnt my choice. back than i didnt like it at adjectives there were alot of different people. so it be weird for me. but as time passed the feeling faded away and now am cool beside it. we came to this country for a better life you cant live on 20 dollars a week and we had no choice. after that we traveled on a 18 wheler those that get gravel it was round four in the morning and it was really really cold. as an imigrant its unyielding because people label you as a criminal even though you have flawless intentions. even if i could go trough the legal way to normalize myself i see it no point to it because i know the answer which will be going back to my own country which there nothing here for me but poverty. when you are an ilegal imigrant everyone labels you as a criminal no matter your age. no one care if you where young all the goverment very soon is that you are a criminal and you are a threat and you have to get out. in other words generosity to the life of an outlaw............
My mother got married to a U.S citizen. I was only 18 and didn't want to live by myself so I established to move to the United States with her. I thought that America would be a nice place to get an education and that motivated me to come here In the United States. I still mull over that it is a great place to get an education and you have seriously more opportunities than other countries but i sometimes hate it because people are so racist. They other ask you how you came here, are you planning to go back to your country? and so on.
I took the plane (it be a 26 hours flight). I had to change plane 3 times and with the waiting time, I arrived at the detroit, Michigan airport after 45 hours (I missed one of my connections.) After the long flight, we have to drive 4 hours to get to our new place. I couldn't sit or lay down while we were driving. The lead of taking the plane: it was fast and they served good food on the plane. you didn't own to purchase it. The other method would be ship and that would take too much time (2 - 6 months)
They even have good movies playing and you own your own screen in front of you.
Disadvantages:
1.It is sometimes not comfortable to sit down that long.
2.The planes move a lot sometimes.
3.Using the bathroom is inconvenient (sometimes your neighbor is sleeping and you own to wake them up).
4. You can't really move or do anything that you want.
The advantage of being an immigrant:
1. In some cases, you speak another style (i speak French) and many companies are looking for someone who speak another language too.
2. You were exposed to another culture and your path of thinking changes.
Disadvantage:
1. People think that you are illegal here so they aren't nice.
2. People constantly ask you annoying question like "Where are you from?", "Are you going back home?" I get that everyday.
3. People muse you are stupid when you have an accent. I always hold to compete with people and show them that I'm smart and can do it too so that their opinions roughly me will change Source(s): Me.

I hope this is usefully !
how you got here - by plane
why you decided to come here - my husband needed to go "home"
where you came from -Germany
what you thought something like America then when you were immigrating and what you think going on for it know- I still think the same . Americans are super polite and nice . You can live a good energy here and the nature is amazing . ki love it even more then I did before (I be already a couple of times in the USA for vacation before we moved here for devout.)
why you had to leave your country,if there be a crisis that caused you to leave, - I didn't have to sign out my country
how you traveled, how it was riding in or on that vehicle
-like I said , we took a plane from Frankfurt Germany , to Dallas , US (We = me ,husband, daughter and my two bulldogs)
and lastly the advantages and disadvantages of being an immigrant -There are none . I lived a apposite life in Germany and I live a good life span in the USA.
Hm mm ok , I pay much less (labor) tariff here in the USA . In Germany I had to pay almost 45% rates on my salary (including the retirement fond , the health care , the dismissal tax , church tax , solidarity tax, labor duty and some more) as you can see , we pay a lot of tax contained by Germany .
We even pay tax if we own a dog .
So that's is an advantage for me. Source(s): l.p.r. since '06
