I am working on EAD within US. Does departure the country front to expiry of EAD since the issued expiry date?
Answers:
That would depend on how you got your EAD to begin with. No one simply applies for an EAD, or everyone would. To carry an EAD, you must have applied for something that qualified you to have an EAD. And, of course, it's not a travel document. You can't newly flash it at immigration to get into the country. So, if you got an EAD because you have an adjustment to some sort of immigration status imminent, then you would have to get Advance Parole in the past you left or you wouldn't be allowed to re-enter the US, much less work.
George L is absolutely correct! EAD have nothing to do with leaving or coming to the country. With EAD u MUST hold had Advance Parole, and the date on that AP is the one until which u r allowed to stay in the US.
Ur EAD expiration date is only prerequisite if u work/want to work. No. An EAD "allows" you to work. It does not require you to work. (unlike certain types of visas that do require you to work or lose the visa)
