How hasty can a live-in caregiver record for land immigrant contained by canada?
My cousin came here under the live-in caregiver program and she has 4 months more vanished before she completes the 24 months required from her by the immigration law to qualify for applying to become a landed immigrant and carry her family from home to live with her. She heard some buzz that the rule lately released a change in law/rules that you can actually wallet your paper as a landed immigrant if you have 6 months or smaller quantity left to complete. I tried searching it for her in the endorsed Canadian immigration website but I found nothing about this "update" and tried to call the call-centre but you can't bargain to an actual person...its all automated.
Thanks in mortgage!

I have not heard anything about this 6 months rule and nearby is nothing about it on the CIC website. SO she must wait until she have completed the 2 full years before she can apply.
You can become a permanent resident of Canada if you have completed at lowest two years of employment as a live-in caregiver:
The two years must be within three years of the date you arrived in Canada. You can use an ROE or letter from your employer(s) confirming the spell of time that you have worked and either a statement of earnings or T4 slips, as proof of your employment.
The two years do not include any extended time outside Canada. For example, if you disappear Canada on vacation for three months, that period does not count in the two-year requirement. If you work for your employer outside Canada, for example, on a ethnic group vacation, this also will not count in the two-year requirement.
you should be able to speak to a personality at the call centre - after you answer the language and immigration (not citizenship) menus, afterwards hit 0 (zero) to get a person.
This worked for me when I was applying for PR and I have to wait a few years. I have been a PR for 2 years in a minute. Source(s): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/caregi...
Resolved Questions:
Is it me or is the influx of eastern european migrant workers come across to be getting worse?
wat do you think? As long as they're paying taxes, it's all good. They ARE paying taxes, right ? ;) I similar to white people.
What information in the region of you is on record when you sponsor someone getting a green card?
It's all the information you provided when you filled out the forms and the documents you provided as a proof like your Income Tax Return, birth authorization, marriage certificate, etc.
Thanks in mortgage!
