What are your thoughts going on for off the record immigration?

Nobody is illegal
I think it's unfair to give special treatment and protections to citizens who are intentionally breaking the law to sneak into the country, when so many people are trying to do it the officially recognized way and it takes a long time and a lot of money. Why should folks who avoided the law get to stay and people who do it right grasp denied?

HOWEVER, at the same time I think most immigration restrictions should be lifted. If ethnic group aren't criminals and they want to work in another country, I say let them. I would a bit everyone had the right to go where they want. So if you don't resembling your country, go live somewhere else.

So - I'm for open immigration if the laws be changed to make that legal, I don't think it's event for people who broke the law to get away beside it.
All I can tell you is that our county's crime rate has doubled since the influx of illegals. That is enough for me to convey them home.
The flow of illegal immigrants only increased because of the greedy U.S. business owners. Immigrants would own never continued to make their way here if they didn't have job already lined up for them. Now, these same businesses need these immigrants because they can rely on them to show up to work adjectives the time, all weekend and for long hours. They know they won't make demands for higher wages, benefits, weekends and holidays past its sell-by date. With them working for lower wages helped them make huge profits. By them making huge profits, allows them to keep the prices of the products you buy highly low. These same people are tax payers and consumers of America. They pay billions surrounded by taxes every year, and make billions in purchases every year. The same taxes they pay and don't claim, help keep Social Security and Medicare stay afloat, and it also helps Legal Citizens get a retirement check. The taxes they clear in rent, also helps local schools.

So very soon, if we get rid of them, especially the way our economy is, our companies will really be crippled, and that will distribute a shock wave throughout the countries economy.

Illegal immigrants' value to discount? $1.8 trillion

If the 8.1 million undocumented immigrants who cut lawns, bus tables and perform other job disappeared overnight, the nation's economy would lose nearly $1.8 trillion in annual spending.

Texas, the second-hardest-hit state after California, would lose 1.2 million undocumented workers and $220.7 billion in expenditures.

The Economy Benefits from Illegal Immigrants

So aside from providing services and physical labor that benefit American society, illegal immigrants also stimulate the economy, overpay taxes lacking collecting refunds and help pay grandma's Social Security check. Still some nation would rather deport all illegal immigrant or force them out of the country because they will be unable to find work. Perhaps in some ways the county would benefit from this; however, we may very powerfully find that the ill effects may far outweigh any benefits there may be from not having illicit workers in the United States.
Yes, illegal immigration is a big problem here in India. People from Bangladesh move into our country and get into trouble next to the local populace. Pakistan, Banglades, and China funded terrorists create havoc with their bombs and stuff...
Refugees from Tibet, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, though cannot be turned back, can they be? They are coming here to escape tyrannical regimes, and we need to sustain them!!
Give them some options.

Option 1.
Apply for permanent residence or citizenship to the USA, but within the meantime, go back to your country. But they should be allowed to apply before going posterior to their home country.

Option 2.
If they are a dependant/spouse/etc of someone who is an American perm. resident or citizen then let them stay and apply, so long as they are paying tax through the court person in their household.
The average immigrant household receives $13,326 surrounded by federal annual expenditures and pays $10,664 in federal taxes—that is, they generate a fiscal deficit of $2,682 (1996 dollars)per household.

In 2007 dollars this is a deficit of $3,408 per immigrant household.

With 9 million households currently headed by immigrants, more than $30 billion ($3,408 x 9 million) of the federal deficit represents money transferred from original taxpayers to immigrants.

Our national immigration policies have to work for the United States. While improving the plight of the world’s poor is a laudable objective, the finite resources we have available to fulfill that goal would be swamped if there wasn’t some orderly and endurable system in place to limit entry into the United States to what this nation can actually support. The more off the record aliens that are permitted to subvert the immigration system, the fewer immigrants we can accommodate who might actually produce a positive benefit for our country.
The Congressional Budget Office surrounded by December 2007 (CBO: The Impact of Unauthorized Immigrants on the Budgets of State and Local Governments) stated the tax revenues that unauthorized immigrants generate for state and local governments do not work against the total cost of services provided to those immigrants. Illegal immigrants are a NET COST LOSS and a burden to the budgets of all states. This cost is largely borne by the states and citizen taxpayers. Federal payments allocated by Washington topple far short in reimbursing state and local government expenditures.

A report in April 2008 by economist Edwin Rubenstein titled the FISCAL COST OF IMMIGRATION, indicated:
- The impact on 15 Federal Departments surveyed be: $346 billion in fiscal related costs in FY 2007.

- Each immigrant cost taxpayers more than $9,000 per year.
- An immigrant household, consisting of two adults and two children, cost taxpayers $36,000 per year. Legal immigrants be not separated out from illegal immigrants for the fiscal impact study, but if they had be, the fiscal cost per ILLEGAL immigrant would be even more shocking than the figures quoted above.

The annual cost for uncompensated emergency care to Mexican Border States (California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas) is $200 million. California taxpayers paid $79 million for unofficial alien health care. Texas paid $74 million. –Tom DeWeese, President of American Policy Center.

The average annual cost per child for coaching is $7,161, totaling $109 billion to educate illegal aliens annually. The average cost of bilingual education is $1,200 per iffy student. U.S. schools annually educate 1.1 million illegal children. -Tom DeWeese, President of American Policy Center.

A foremost cost factor in the conduct of school operations relates to the immense number of children of illegal immigrants in our classroom and the special-training dictates for frequent of those students being taught in their aboriginal language — some 82 languages in San Diego County, 112 language in Los Angeles County. – North County Times, March 2008. In New York City alone, more than 200 languages are spoken in the public school. –NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development.

$108.2 million is spent each year by U.S. border counties in the four state region to pay for ruling enforcement, criminal justice and emergency healthcare services to illegal immigrants, states a February 2008 report from the United States/Mexico Border Counties Coalition (USMBCC). Current federal reimbursement returns single 11.5 cents on the dollar to counties for handling criminal illegal immigrant services.

From 1999 through 2006, the 24 counties along the U.S.-Mexico border spent a cumulative $1.23 billion on services to process criminal undocumented immigrants through the law enforcement and criminal sprite system. In fiscal year 2006 alone, the cost was $192 million. Yet, the federal government has with the sole purpose reimbursed these 24 counties $4.7 million for detaining criminal undocumented immigrants for fiscal year 2006 (and $54.8 million since 1999). These are staggering costs considering the rural nature and poverty level of most of these border counties. The costs to process undocumented immigrant come at the expense of basic, vital services to county residents. (Undocumented Immigrants in U.S. Border Counties: The Costs of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Services; U.S.-Mexico Border Counties Coalition February 2008)

The average illegitimate immigrant family uses $2,700/year more in services than it pays in taxes. In 2002, this amounted to a $10.4 billion drain on the federal budget. Some of the greatest federal costs included: Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to school ($1.4 billion). According to the CIS report, since most of the illegal aliens currently in the workforce do not have a hig

needs to be dealt near enforce the laws that are already on the books that will force them to leave on thier own, build the border fence top and bottom
I think our political affairs has not lived up to its sworn obligation to protect our borders and I think they betrayed the American citizen.

If this country cannot protect its own borders and let illegal immigrants march surrounded by the streets demanding rights they do not have how can we win a war ? We look like fools and we are fools.
Deport all the illegal invaders of America!
I honestly believe that the govt wants undocumented here, if america wanted them out, they own the power to do so! Don't tell me that america dos not have enough money to provide more financial guarantee on the border? oh and by the way .... they are not all from the latino community, people give the impression of being to focus on them more.12 million undocumented are not all latino... they all come from different parts of the world, most of them dont even speak spanish! People have built some type of meanness towards them... and that's called discrimination. To me it seems that americans of late seem to have a problem with other race, I'm not surprised.... all excuses from everyone.
they inevitability to get the hell out, they are ruining this country!

and yes I'm Mexican.. but legal.
Build the fence, close the border, put employer of illegals in prison, start deporting.
