Airport examine..on the subject of processing times at the airport for a K1 immigrant entering the US..?
My fiance is coming to the US on a K1 visa, entering though JFK. Is 2 1/2 hours long enough for him to get processed and catch his subsequent flight?

He can probably make it to his connecting flight.He will still be interviewed briefly and have his fingerprints and picture taken.He will also give to the Immigration Officer the hermetically sealed brown envelope given to him by the US Embassy.The best you can do is provide him with the lay out of the airport so he will not consume more time finding his way or tell him not to throw away time when he arrives and try to locate where he will be processed.Airports has directories/monitors and directions are all over so adjectives he needs to do is follow them.He should fall in rank with Visitor's Line.Once he get past it, he should directly step and find where he will have his connecting flight.Hopefully, he will arrive when there not various other arrivals so he will be processed faster.In case he missed his flight, at least he is already here in the US and be done already with POE.Provide him with enough money contained by dollars for emergency and for payphone if he doesn't have a cellphone so he can call you just contained by case.
