What nature of rail should be used to control the border?
Serious answers only please, what kind of barrier do you muse should be used to close the border: wall, fence, canal, etc...? How do you think the costs should be covered? Do you deem it would help with the illegal immigration problem? What other lawful reforms have to be made to the laws surrounded by order to be able to enforce controlling our borders?
Answers:
A tall fence and armed guards that hold permission to shoot. This could be paid for in any number of ways, including adjectives back on welfare benefits that we give to the ILLEGAL immigrants. They would quit sneaking across the border if they be afraid of getting shot and might just start coming across legally.
I think the best means of access of controlling the illegal immigration problem is to abolish the minimum wage. The employers would not have to skin the fact that they are employing these workers because it would no longer be at illegal wages. They could later turn in all paperwork so these people could be tax on their wages just like everyone else.
I don't want to hear any bleeding heart liberals who complain that you can't support a family on $3 an hour. They would still be making more money than they would surrounded by their home countries, or they wouldn't keep coming over here. They could enter this country legally on a worker visa card, pay taxes, quit taking money from our welfare system, and distribute money home to their families--everyone wins.
The type of barrier needed would oscillate according to the location and terrain.
Isolated areas will see very light traffic...the difficulty of gaining access through these areas is a strong deterrent as it is. Some areas are frequent miles from civilization, with inhospitable terrain (and weather) making it very difficult to attempt (and dangerous).
Areas near populated areas requirement a more formidable barrier.
Enforcement of our current laws would be the biggest deterrent, but increased border security will facilitate keep the numbers down even more, and make it more difficult for the drug smugglers, etc. to gain access to our country. This would make the mission of our fine border patrol a little easier (there will always be SOME attempting to enter illegally, but by reducing the sheer NUMBERS, it will be easier on our border patrol).

Increase the Visa quotas and ability for immigrants to come into the country LEGALLY if within is such a demand for more workers.
Start deporting them when they are caught on any legal violation (including driving minus a license, identity theft or uninsured vehicles where it is mandate by the State).
Take away the benefits and motivation for illegal immigrants to come and they will stop coming. In fact, frequent will return under their own accord.
