Has anyone hired undocumented? ?
I was wondering what the process is for making sure that paperwork is valid? If you are an employer ... have you ever hired an undecumented? or would you and why?

Why would you even THINK of hiring anyone that you're not SURE of?
I don't know which State you're contained by but, in California, lately, Companies are being RAIDED and American Citizens are turning 'ANY' company that looks suspicious....yes, it's FINALLY coming to that.
There is a Mexican 'Bakery' on my way into Town, empire have been suspicious of for a while now. Last month it be raided by ICE & INS. Well, come to find out that 7 employees out of 9 were "ILLEGALS"....that's what they are, "ILLEGALS" NOT undocumented! (2 be the Owners 1 American born {Hispanic} and the other a Legal Alien)
And as for your 'undocumented' wording, would you call a Drug dealer an 'undocumented', Physician or Doctor!
It ISN'T worth the 'chance' of a big fine & possible closing of your business...the Bakery is stil closed....4 weeks now!
I would call ICE and ask them how to confirm citizenship. Sorry to admit, but I have hired them for my business within houston. One day by no accident I saw the error of my ways. I stopped and have be trying to promote the opposite ever since. I used to hire them to mow my lawn but now I do it or I hire crackheads. At tiniest the crackheads aren't trying to bleed me dry through social programs and government stipends. My wife who is hispanic was a huge influence on me and my mow your own lawn position. Over an awesome plate of tamales she and her Nana convinced me that illegals are making it complicated on everybody by lowing the wages of hispanic workers that actually got in vein and learned a little english. I BELIEVE LAKE FOREST GARDENS IN FOMBELL PA HAS HIRED UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS. THEY HAVE MEXICANS EVERYWHERE. I do not see any uneducated comments, only the truth except for greasy's views are always distorted to fit the private agenda. get e-verify, ask for social security and drivers license, birth certificates etc... No I would never ever hire any wrong under any circumstance. they are not undocumented, they are illegal. call them what they are. Employers caught hiring illegals are getting fines and young offenders` institution time as it should be.

We require a valid SS card, driver's license, birth qualification or EAD.
We also require fluency in English for the safety of our employees, livestock, equipment, etc.
We merely want to put Americans and legal immigrants to work.

I would say it depends on what type of business you own and what type of work you need done.
My husband owns a tree service company and some of his workers are illegal. But he knows this. The men that work for my husband are so not easy working and put all their effort into the work and that's why he uses them. It isnt good to hire population who have no working papers but its not harming anyone so I dont see the problem.
But there are those who take advantage of people who are wrong and have no papers. They make them work their butts off and after at the end of the week dont pay them and the poor people cant do anything nearly it. Sad.
