Immigrant visa to USA denied. Can you help out??
I went for immigrant visa interview yesterday at the american embassy UK. They took fingerprint, asked me to swear and sign the papers, gave me a booklet saying response to america, but the immigration officer said you have to provide joint sponsor, and a new police qualification, and when you have that, send the documents along with your passport and we will distribute you visa documents.
Can you give me some advice?

Your sponsor clearly couldn't prove enough income to ensure you won't become a public charge so you need a co sponsor contained by the USA. Your original sponsor needs to ask around to see if anyone can help. Your police pass is easy to replace, just go to your local police station and ask for a form for a topical one and pay the fee.
I'm not clear if your application was work or nearest and dearest based, if work based then your employer have failed to provide documentation, if family based your relations member needs to get an extra available job or find someone else willing to sign to support you for the next 10 years. It sounds as though the denial is just provisional, which is rather common when your paperwork isn't in order.
In your valise, you need to provide a new police certificate, as your dated one had probably expired or didn't cover all the places you'd lived, and your sponsor obviously doesn't earn plenty money to meet the Affidavit of Support requirements so needs to find someone willing to be your co-sponsor. It can be a friend or kinfolk member.
It's clearly a temporary denial, probably lower than 221g until you do the things you were asked to do. Once you have given them what they asked for. you should get the immigrant visa unbelievably quickly. So, go do it. That's the only counsel you need.
