I am 20, live inthe USA neverh ad a criminal record or anything I just want to know if I instinctively 'need' to get a examination at the doctor in demand to get a visa, I want to stay like 3 -6 months to see my bf, did any of you need to state any sort of strength things into your visa application? or anything?

All I know about Australia is that it's a Country of outlaws. Do a background check on yout boyfriend formerly you do anything else.
Usually you will not be required to undergo a medical exam unless you plan on studying there. You will also need to show proof of funds surrounded by your bank account to show you can support yourself for sometime without working (if you plan on staying longer next 3 months)

I went over there in 2002 on only just my passport, nothing else was required for me
