Hi, I am currently searching for good UK immigration lawyer, having had rejections as a working holiday maker and 6 month social stop by pass to the UK, though I'm holding a Singapore passport. It's quite an exasperting situation to be in, I've even tried cold calling big regulation firms here in Singapore and it appears that the best way to go almost getting advice is via the migration experts / lawyers in UK. I enjoy not yet engaged any to date, still getting quotes at this juncture but it seems resembling the base line is as follow:
1) Be prepared to pay for direction of any sorts. General discussions are FOC but does not resolve any immigration issues you may have
2) Look for OISC logo on the web page. This will prove that they are registered to provide immigration advice. The UK Border Agency recommended IAS from the UK for immigration services required. I intuitively have not turned to them at this juncture.
